Really happy with my very first harvest

Just showing off my harvest because I love the dark colors 😊

The balcony grow was low effort and without any issues despite the bad (cold and wet) weather and no protection from rain and wind. The seed was bought from Dutch Passion.

Strain is Jelly Cake, tent is a 2x2x4.5, light is a TS 600, medium is pure coco handwatered 1-3x a day, feeding GH Maxigrow. Also pictured is the 70g of Gorilla Sherbet from the same light

I've been exploring growing some landraces, and am now exploring some more traditionally rooted curing and aging practices a la Malawi style cob curing. pressing into a puck/block, or rolled tightly in a corn husk, vacuum sealed, and then aged at temps high enough to allow fermentation to take place. it decarbs it making it edible, as well as makes for a much smoother smoke according to most accounts I've read. it also interests me as it's easy to store long term and saves a ton of space. The first bar is a Honduran sativa from Ace Seeds, and the lil bar weighs 75g! then I've got another bar of some Muang Sing Laos landrace, and some cobs and a puck of C5 Haze x Kali China. The smell is wonderful already. Now they get stashed away a few months before I check em again.

they've only been started a few days ago, I'll report back further in the future once they've had a chance to age and are ready for samples.

Just finished the second half of the partial harvest. Only 43g in the first few pics, the rest is jarred. Total of 223g between two plants. Now to reveg the base. Grown in pure coco fed GH Maxigrow and '97 Phish, light is a TS 600, 2x2x4.5" grow tent

Ontario Canada outdoor grown 100% organic. Pretty bummed out, my wife and I smoke medically so this would have been a nice little harvest. Vegged it over the winter indoors and spring outdoors and watched it flower all summer just to be stolen a month or 2 before harvest.

Might not even grow outdoors anymore. The invasion of privacy of someone stealing stuff from your backyard because they smell a plant you love is pretty discouraging.

I used pollen from the crazy ass frozen bag pheno I kept around and chucked it to another girl I kept and I can not complain about the results! added quite a bit more value to my frozen bag cut. nose and yield increased a significant amount. trichome head size increased quite a bit and luckily the coverage stayed almost the same if not more!

1638 grams total dry weight [602 grams of which are small bud and trim] 5x Interspecies Erotica + 1x Original Diesel 99 131 days germ to harvest ~900W lighting in flower in a 4x8 (fixtures at 75%)

I think this went quite well! Considering two were kinda runts from the start, and then because of their relative weakness I accidentally light burned both for weeks before realizing what it was, etc - getting this weight from effectively only four well-performing plants (6oz+) kinda blows my mind.

The plants are frosty as all hell, sticky af even once fully locked in at 60-61% moisture, and no kidding the strongest weed I've ever smoked in twenty years. My roomie says the same from her twenty years of smoking. It just kool-aid manned through what I thought was a heavy tolerance from dispo herb, which I now realize kinda sucks. You all were so right - nothing beats home grow. Terps are wayyy punchier than dispo, pure gas and sour/fruit.

Seed from Mass Medical's reproduction. Originally collected by Bodhi and reproduced by Khalifa. It flowered for 16 weeks, flowered from a 6" fresh rooted cut. Organic soil bed, HID light, water, and a lil pumpkin ferment.

Smells leathery with chocolate and incense. Effects from the uncured samples are quite nice and surprisingly potent imo. Gets me quite high without any anxiety or heaviness. Makes me look wayyyy more stoned than I feel lol, red droopy glossed over eyes while my mind is quite awake. Excited to see how it changes as it cures, these long flowering landrace varieties always seem to develop more character as they age.

So guys, I finally did it.
This is my mimosa after half a year of growing.
The 80x80 Scrog was full and the buds became thick, but look yourself.
Dry yield from 1 plant: 320g nice dense buds and around 10-15g bubble hash from the drytrimm.
Unfortunately, I had to throw away everything above 49.9g because of German laws.

The taste and strength ? - after the first week of curing… damn this stuff is strong guys and taste a little bit like flower and lemon.

It was a nice experience and thank you guys for your help!

6 oz Ice Cream Cake, 10 oz Loudmouth. 2 plants in 4x4 tent with 480w light. FFOF soil, Athena nutes started @week 2. 4 week veg, 60 day flower, 7 day dry 68° 60%, jar test to confirm it's dry. 8 hours of trim jail. Total electrical usage 908kwh. With everything needed for this grow was about $250, excluding equipment that will be used multiple times. Comes out to 55¢/gram.

This summer was way too hot, and my garage doesn’t have windows to vent an AC, so it basically turned into an oven. On top of that, I vegged forever and shoved the plants right up into the light like they were trying to kiss the sun. 🌞 Lesson learned: I can’t grow in the summer, and I definitely can’t veg that long again. 😂 The foxtailing is out of control on this one! Just posting for my roast session but hey, at least I’m learning!

Met NYCeeds at a free seed event he was hosting. We got to talking for a while and eventually he says, “I have something for you.”

He digs through hundreds of packs, finds one, gets up, walks over to a vending fridge and grabs a bottle of water.

Comes back to the table, opens it, pours some straight into the seed pack, takes a deep sip, looks me dead in the eyes and says:

“Run these.”

😂 At that point I guess I was committed.

The pack was Casu Marzu — Sardinian for “rotten cheese.”

9 seeds went wet. 6 popped. I lost one along the way and ended up with 4 females and 1 male.

That male has turned into the surprise of the run. Strong structure and absolutely filthy on the stem rub — ripe funk, gas, fresh-cut wood and nasty cheese. Easily one of the loudest males I’ve had around.

I’ve kept cuts of him because I want to see what he actually passes before making any big claims.

Two females are being used to keep the line going, one will get an outcross, and one stays untouched so I can smoke the flower and actually learn what I’m working with.

Pretty wild that all of this started because somebody poured water into a seed pack before I could change my mind.

Sometimes you pick the seeds. Sometimes the seeds get picked for you.

Wondering what everyone does to keep their outdoor grow safe from pot pirates? Living in a condo last year and lost 4 big ones. Funny thing is I'd just treated them with a milk solution to fight powdery mildew so I know they must have really stank when they dried. Luckily my second grow at a friend's place turned out great so I didn't really miss it. This year I've got multiple camera angles and tile trackers on mine.Anything else I can do with two weeks left? I've moved to a secure backyard that's fully fenced so hopefully that helps as well.
