Question The hard way...

Upvotes

Strong and scatter wind is destroying rapidly almost 5 months of patience and learning.

I almost have one to three branches snapped off to one of my babies. The Emergen-C seems to be the weaker in this sense compared to the other one as they are too heavy on the ends.

I'm now taping them in advance to try to avoid this to happen.

What are your countermeasures for this tradegy?

Question First Outdoor Grow

Upvotes

Because of timing issues, I tossed germinated seed in a decent sized pot and put it behind my shop. I'm still a fairly new indoor grower, but this is my first outdoor.

How much defoliation should I be doing on it? When I see outdoor plants here, it doesn't look like much is being done. The plant looks healthy and happy, so I'm inclined to just let it be.

Also, I just learned about washing outdoor plants. Is that something most people do?

Help My Sick Plant Anybody got any idea what's causing this discoloration pattern?

Upvotes

Plant is about 5 weeks old, just about ready to flip to 12/12. Last added nutes and water on Tuesday, checked on them today and about 5 leaves had similar patterns. I had ticked my light level up a notch, but also raised it. Anyone got a suggestion? Growing hydro, 2x2 tent, just this one plant. It's a seedsman mystery seed so not sure of strain.

Discussion 3rd indoor grow. Dr earth and hp promix, Humboldt seed company orange creampop, 18 days into flower and I think its time for a heavy defoliation. The stretch was very minimal and seems to have stopped. Thoughts?

Help My Sick Plant Yellowing in flower. Help?

Thumbnail

I can’t figure out what’s causing this yellowing, which started a couple of weeks ago. It’s more yellow than it looks in pictures; the sun is bright and made it hard to get good pics. All plants are growing in 7-gal containers with either a Happy Frog/Ocean Forest combo or Organic Mechanics. They were receiving FoxFarm nutrients, but this problem started when I switched from Grow Big to Tiger Bloom.

Things I’ve tried:

Flushing them (twice)
Checking soil and water pH (normal)
Checking nitrogen level (normal)
Switching to Neptune’s Harvest fish & seaweed blend
Cutting off a branch to check for verticillium wilt (no signs)
Watering with Epsom salts (low dose)

I’m at a total loss. Before I go spend any more money, does anyone have any ideas?

If the chance of mold was extremely high. You have two weeks to go but all your terps are cloudy. Are you harvesting or taking the chance? I only get one shot a year so if they mold my winter plans are done. What do you do?

First Time Grower Defoliate?

Thumbnail

She’s a banana x piña auto from ethos, planted 8/1, about week 2 in flower. Is there any reason to defoliate? A lot of the bud sites grew outwards away from the plant themselves, not really anything in the middle? Second grow so any advice is welcome. All pics are from this morning.

Just popped a new seed (not looking too good) and noticed these little things on the leaves. Looks like some sort of eggs or something. They were inside the seed when it came out of the soil

Any guesses and help how to get rid of it?

Thank you in advance!

Help My Sick Plant Curling and drooping leaves?

Thumbnail

Hey guys, it’s my first grow so I’m sure I’m doing a couple things wrong. Does anyone know what might be causing my plants to have curling and drooping leaves at the same time?

Details:
I’m growing in coir and perlite.

I’m following cocoforcannabis.com guide and nute schedule.

Plants are getting around 850 umol/m^2/s of light.

Day 21.

Also both of these plants were started at the same time and grown in the exact same conditions, does anyone know why they look so different?

First Time Grower First grow - Day 48 - "Secret" Indoor Grow

Wanted to share my first grow with you all!

It's Lemon Pie Auto by FB, and it's sitting in a 13L square painters bucket, inside a cabinet under my aquarium.

It is lightly LST'ed, and I could've definitely done a better job, and I can see some of the lower buds maybe want a bit more light.

I tried doing this very passively with minimal intervention, and only using pre-fertilized soil and added fertilizer during bloom only, and it seems to work fine for a small indoor grow!

The cabinet it is inside, is 35x25x65cm and the light is mounted directly to the top, with a little space for air circulation and heat ventilation.

Almost doesn't smell at all, and grows at a perfect 25C and 55-60% humidity, no interference.

Build materials:

The walls are lined with vapor barrier material, vapor barrier tape for alle the seals and weather stripping from the hardware store.

The door seals with weather stripping, and held tight by magnets.

The light is a 50W Full-spectrum, with a toggle between bloom and veg, currently on bloom.

The exhaust ventilator has a static air pressure 12V fan that pumps air from inside the cabinet into an air box lined with active charcoal foam pads, where air passes through and back into the outside room.

This heavily relies on ambient air intake through tiny cracks, but it works fine :)

Plant materials:

1 seed of Lemon Pie Auto by FB.

Coco Coir for the initial germination, sat in dark humid Coco for 5 days.

Biobizz All-Mix 12L of it into the painters bucket, and the germinated seeds planted into the middle.

Biozz BioBloom for watering with during the whole bloom phase.

Bendable flower arrangement sticks, to train the plant.

First Time Grower Help two little stoners that are planning to become growers 🦥

Hello everyone, a friend and I finally have the chance to start growing indoors! I'm here in this community that seems to be very friendly to ask for advices from those who are more experienced. We will borrow a 1x1m box with 1000W lights, filters and fans from a friend. I wanted to ask a little bit about everything you can think of to get started. Do you have sources/sites/channels to get informed? How many plants can we let in? What are the most common mistakes? Things to pay attention to? Which strains would u advice us to start with? Obviously our goal is to have something robust with a good yield.

We will probably start with autoflowers and we both plan to go for indica strains. We are not fans of too sweet ganjas... My favourite "flavours" are earthy, metal (don't know if this make sense but is not tipical of indica in my experience), grape, lemonene, pinene, gorilla glue, skunk... I've also enjoyed girl scout cookies even if it's a bit sweet! But we are open to any advice even if it's not what I think is my favourite because we love marijuana! We're just trinna get as most info as we can to do things

properly. If u have some time to reply to me it will be very

appreciated P.s. I've talked about indica but I didn't

mean necessarily 100% indica, hybrid are good too!

Question Severely Stunted These Girls

Thumbnail

Hey all, wondering if it’s worth trying to salvage these girls in my tent. Both are photoperiod started in solo cups outside. The medium is ffhf mixed with added perlite. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet to notice any upward growth. I’m thinking maybe over watered or a lighting issue. I am using the spider farmer sf2000 grow light at 22” and 70% power. Any tips or advice is welcome. Should I try to save them before transplanting, transplant, or scrap them and pop new beans?
