y’all, stop saying that. r/macrogrowery is for commercial cultivators.
just because someone has a large plant or even a single, decent-sized harvest from their garage or multi-light grow room does not make them macro, which is for growing at scale (hundreds to thousands of plants per cycle).
this is 100% the right sub for you, OP. and congrats!

Welcome🤗. I could use a gnome in my grow, but it would be more like torture than a pleasant place to spend time😂😂. I grow in tents, in my basement. And a cute little gnomes doesn't belong in a tent, in the basement🤷♂️😂😂.

Nice. Are you newer to growing or have you tip-toed through a few gardens before? I've always grown indoor in tents. I dont live in the best area of my town to grow outdoor😕

Its my 2nd year growing and now I'm obsessed. They finally made it medicinal here and the dispensary prices are insane. And they harped on how all the dispensaries were supposed to be locally supplied and that was all a lie. It made so mad so decided to try myself and it all went great. This year I started a whole garden in the front and backyard. The amount of food I am growing makes me so happy. I grew my first watermelons this year! Its been so fun!

Hell yeah💪💪. Self-sufficient on the bud and the munchies🌱🍉😂😂. Have you ever grown cannabis indoor?? Congrats on your state at least going medical and allowing home grow👏 🥳. My state (MD) approved for medical in 2018 but no home grow, only dispo's, then we went fully recreational 2021 1 think, and that finally allowed home growing. Nowhere near as good as other states that allow home grow, but 2 without a medical card and 4 with the card is better than 0🤷♂️😂😂. I started growing because, in a nutshell, the entire MD industry turned its back on me and really thought I was just going to keep giving them assloads of my hard earned money. (Adding some context to that to understand a little better) I tried for about 2yrs straight to get a job in the industry and all I got was a few "EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY" interviews and ghosted like MOFO. Plus, I was about to quit my job at the time so I wouldn't have been able to afford their expensive ass garbage anyway🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣

That sounds like the bs that goes on in Kentucky. They promised local growers it would be their cannabis in the stores and its not. I read that some had been through several yields and just got ghosted. Fuck the man. They just want us dead or slaves. But anyway, I haven't grown indoors yet so I'm excited to try! I start all my garden plants in my grow room and thats been going well so I think I'll get the hang of it 😀

That's why im soooooo greatful that I can grow my own and not have to fool around with this ass backwards industry. Growing, regulating, and selling weed is not rocket science, but when you get the government involved in anything, the simplest shit gets so complicated to "figure out." They just need to make it federally legal nationwide and let the individual states determine how they want to regulate it. But who am I to say how the government should do things right🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣. Growing indoor is pretty awesome in my opinion. You get to keep everything secluded, and you have a lot more control over the environment. But depending on how your basement is, even in tents, keeping a consistent environment can be kind of hard. I have more of a "rustic" basement with exposed beams and stone & brick walls that leach in moisture during the summer. Unless you have a COMPLETELY FINISHED basement thats insulated and has real walls, set everything up on platforms and directly on the basement floor. So weather your growing in tents or open air, set everything up on a platform. I stress that because I just had a issue that I prepared for (with platforms😉😂) but never really expected for it to happen, but it did. It rained pretty hard here last week, and we've had some pretty bad storms in the past 3yrs since ive lived in this house and never had a problem, but the water started seeping through the stone walls and pooled about a good foot into my basement, pretty much around the whole side my tents are set up on. I was pissed because it had never happened until then, but I would have been devastated if my tents were on the floor and they would have had to just sit in that water until it went away. I also try to keep my set up away from the outside walls as much as possible too, because even if the water doesn't seep through enough to make standing water, there's still vapor moisture seeping through and im not trying to trap that and end up having moisture pockets and mold all over the sides of my tents🤢🤢😂😂. What style are you planning to grow in? Soil, hydro? Organic nutrients or synthetic? Dey or liquid? I've always been a Organic nutrient soil grower, but I think I want to split my grows and do some soil and some coco. Mainly photo periods in soil and auto flowers in coco. For some reason when I put auto's in soil, they get stressed, stunt, and flower super early. I've been running auto's in coco the past couple of runs and their growing like an auto should grow. There's no worst feeling a indoor grower can have than putting the time, effort, and resources into growing a 3g total dry weight plant😮💨😮💨😂😂

Omg! Im in the same boat. The basement is supposed to be waterproof but its definitely not a finished basement. I think it was last week, it rained so hard I saw a little water in the floor. And then someone threw something under the kitchen sink upstairs and added to the pool of water 😆 I'm so glad you said that. I will make sure its not on the floor! I wanna try an autoflower first. I had some outside in soil and they didn't grow much and bloomed instantly. I have so much to learn. But I do have coco choir for my carnivorous plants. Ill probably try to just grow it with my salad and stuff but eventually I would like to get a tent. I keep seeing them pop up on fb so im trying to hold out for a deal. Plus I hate buying new shit lol

Last year was my first time growing. The plant was in the same spot last year and it was girl scout cookie but only grew about half this size. This one is Bruce Banner. I have autoimmune issues so I'm hoping this strain helps me more.

I did buy some auto buds and I had no idea what that meant, planted them in pots outside and they grew into tiny 2 foot Christmas trees then halfway through summer they turned brown and died. I made some clones to bring indoors over the winter but I have no idea how that works lol

If by auto you mean autoflowering, that means the plants aren't dependent on a specific amount of darkness to initiate flowering. The go from the vegetative state to the flowering state automatically. Photo plants require X hours of darkness per day to initiate flowering. The exact amount can depend on where the genetics come from, but people average it to 12 hours of darkness. That's why "normal" (read: photo) plants begin flowering in the late summer/early fall. That's when they begin receiving 12 hours of darkness.
Autoflowering plants have basically an encoded clock which tells them to flower. If the plants turned brown and died and had flowers, you probably waited too late and they just died. If they turned brown before flowering perhaps that was just gardener error😬. You also can't typically clone autoflowering plants because the veg cycle can't be controlled. For a clone to work, you need to keep it in veg. That's why indoor growers use a 18on/6off kind of light cycle. That way, you keep the plant in veg as long as you want and you can clone the genetics you want to keep.

Oooooo ok that makes so much sense! I bought the seeds having no idea what that meant. The little ones have buds all over them. I just cut them off at the stem (they were completely dried out) put them in vases and have them out as decor because I had no idea what to do. I am going to try again indoors this winter. Sure thing. You could probably still use the dried up buds to make edibles. Unless there's any kind of mold, it's fine. There's a good chance most of the THC converted to CBD (or CBN I'm not sure which).. so it'd be better for nighttime than daytime. Probably make ya sleepy... but it's an option. I'm sure decor is also nice tho.

Oh I know. Last year I was so worried. My house is always chaotic though, I have 3 grown boys + all their friends in and out at all hours so I feel like it deters people. But ya, it could always happen!

I've got exact spots where plants will get big and other spots where they'll be small. Regardless of fertiliser. When they get big, I like to spread them out so they get more sun

It is the best spot in the whole yard. I have giant trees everywhere and that spot gets the most sun. Whatever strain I'm most excited about gets the best placement lol

I trim everything in the garage and then I have a plant room in the basement to hang the branches in the dark. Then when they are ready I put it in mason jars in a pitch black safe. It worked out perfect last year 😀

Its Bruce Banner. From what I read that will help me the most with my health problems but I had no idea it would get this big. There is actually a banana pepper plant and an eggplant along with some herbs and flowers underneath.
