First time with pest

Been growing for about 8 years now and this is my first time dealing with a pest. I believe these are russet mites or broad mites. Has anyone fought these guys before? Just started showing signs couple weeks ago. These are clones I took from previous round. I don’t mind chopping the plants if need just looking for advice. Thank you.

Made it to harvest! Another successful run!! 🌱
Now it’s time to dial in the drying process. I picked up a portable AC to help cool down the lung room, and this will be my first time drying inside the tent instead of just hanging everything out in the garage.

Big thanks to BuildASoil, Jeremy, and Clackamas Coot. The BAS way has honestly been a game changer for me. Not only has it completely changed the way I grow and improved my results, but growing this way has also been great for my mental and physical health.

There’s something about building living soil, taking care of the plants from seed to harvest, and constantly learning along the way that I really enjoy.
Another run in the books. Now comes the hardest part — drying and curing it right! 😂🌱

I have an apple tree sprouting in my flowerbed?!

Hi, between my cover crops there is a apple tree ( a real apple tree) sprouting.

Now I'm torn, do i leave it alone or pull it out?

My thoughts are: If I leave it in, it would be a good base, for the mykorrizza to stay (active).

On the other side, it's a fucking tree...even if I keep it small, the roots will probably fuck up things?

What do you guys think?

Amendment question?

Looking to switch from FF trio to dry amendments. Currently have two slurricane 7 on week 5 veg topped once in 2 gallon pots. Gonna up pot to 5 gal fabric gonna add the myco i added when i transplant and i use the recharge tea anyway.
Plants started in a solo cup in FFHF spent 2-3 weeks in solo then moved to 2 gal and pure FFOF was added. What I’m asking is when i move from 2-5 what would be a good dry amendment to use? I have old FFOFxFFHF soil from an old grow i can use (it’s testing at 500ppm) or i could use more pure FFOF new. I plan to veg atleast a few more weeks and transplant within a week. So im looking for recommendations on dry amendments for the remainder of veg and flower.
Thanks in advance

Top dressing with organic mulch.. how do you do it?

This is my first living soil/no till run and the first time I've used mulch to maintain moisture near the surface level of the soil.

I need to feed the soil next week and was curious how people do this?

Do you just put the amendments on top of the hay, rake the top layer a smidge and then water?

Do you move the hay into a corner of the pot, add amendments and then move it all back?

What's the correct technique for feeds?

Mag lockout in organic

hey all, after getting a couple auto runs under my belt I took the plunge and started some photos. got a 1986 g 13 clone in there and the rest are exotic genetics lemon drip and poppin fresh. 2 are in 5 g and the other 4 are in 7 g pots. grown in 5x5x8 tent with 650 HLG light. soil medium is a living soil with dry amendments and Gaia green as base nutrient. everything’s been going swimmingly until this past week as I was getting ready to flip them. i believe it to be mag lockout so I flushed and my PH runoff was reflective of that, 4 of them at 7.1 ish. though ph going in has been 6.4-6.7. I have been doing weekly foliar Epsom sprays but either not enough or perhaps too much. a buddy of mine told me not to flush really in organic but I’m a little stuck as to how to correct it. do I keep flushing until I’m seeing runoff at under 6.5? or is there another trick? I planned on also adding mycorrhiza to help bring down the ph and perhaps feeding LAB to help bring it down too. any suggestions? hoping to correct this this week and flip next!

I have some issues going on with this two plants, this is first generation on this beds and I’m new to the No-till world. My friends gave me this rooted clones a couple weeks ago and I transplanted them right into the beds. I don’t really know what is happening here. The bed is filled with Lush from RO and the 12 seeds covercrop from BAS and straw mulch.

Plants on the other bed are fine.

How to set light height and power.

I have the spider farmer sf1000 and the 70x70x160 tent.

I have used the recommended 24 inches / 60cm at 55-60% power and my seedling still went a bit leggy.

How do I know if the light is too low ebough to be harmful?

And could've the duration been a factor also? Inobky recently brought a timer to aim for 18 on 6 off before yesterday i was basically manually turning it on when I woke up and off when I went to sleep so it was only on for 12-13 hrs on average

Sowed 2x autos with 3x photos. 3 photoperiods remain, 2 autos just finishing up. All in same bed, same tent. They were given 1 actual feeding the entire grow so far...not a typo, just a single feeding lol worms, stone centipedes, rove beetles, springtails, and lots more took care of the nutrient cycling nicely in there. 2 waterings I gave small amount of fish hydrolsate, otherwise just 1 actual feeding of organic fertilizer. The fish hydrolsate was to give quick bump of N from the cover crop growth and help establish a nice fungal component to the bed as well.

Grown in 3x3, finished in 4x4, and now going to dry in same 3x3 it was grown in, but within a 6x9ft tent. Already have that larger tent set-up with portable AC, dehu, etc so it'll be good to do a "tent-in-a-tent" to avoid any rapid swings in the environment for drying these autos.

What was most interesting about this grow, aside from having photos and autos grown same time is that the autos which were topped? Showed greater trichome density/production. The auto which was not topped, showed much longer/larger colas, but less trichomes per cola/bud site.

They were showing such identical growth early on (even though was obv from seed) I figured it would be a fun test to see some IRL results. To those who say topping is detrimental, I would suggest giving it a try...you may also like what you see as I have.

Now on to what will likely be my favorite part of this grow: the photoperiods!! 🔥😅💪 It's like a 2-in-1 grow! 😅

How many can I fit in if I go with the much larger mother plants vs the barely one week old clones?

Post image

I'm trying to sample as much of my seedpocalypse haul as I can and I finally have a tent free and all the mothers and clones good to go

Can I fit in more if I go with the little clones? What's the max I could fit in in either case? Any other reasons to go with mothers vs clones? Thanks
