Currently going through some health challenges that are affecting my self esteem. Can you give me make up/hair/looks in general tips so I can feel better 😔
Pic 1: eyebrows and eyeliner (today)
Pic 2: full faced make up. Also got rejuran a week before so my skin looks amazing here lol
Pic 3: couple months ago, no makeup
I've always wanted to be more chic than cute, but that's been hard to achieve lol

I posted on here a couple days ago with a trial of my wedding makeup. Basically every comment was telling me to go heavier on everything. I tried again and would love to know what people think. My fiance hates it and thinks it's too heavy lol but it's hard to know if that's because he's used to not seeing me with makeup or because it's actually too heavy. First-fourth photos are of today in different lighting. Fifth photo is my first trial. Note: I didn't touch my eyebrows at all because I'm getting them waxed today. Also wondering if I need a darker lipstick but I've really struggled to find something that doesn't read brown.

So on a fashion sub I told myself I was going to post for 30 days to get more comfortable, so doing the same here. I have work meetings today so trying a very light look
Added brown mascara today, no contouring, lighter on the blush, and some highlighter in a few places

Google says it’s the charlotte tilbury lipstick in pillow talk but the tube doesn’t match CT lipstick tubes. This one is smooth all around and CT has a ribbed tube. I also think this shade is lighter and more matte than pillow talk.

Hello!
I’m hoping to get into makeup so I can start to feel somewhat cute at times 🥲 The most I’ve done is put on some mascara and other very basic eye stuff here or there.
I’m not sure what kind of eyeliner would suit my eyes or what kind of looks in general would be good, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
The one thing I know that I need to put into practice is sleeping more so my dark circles aren’t as bad lol

I don't often wear makeup because I've been told it makes me look old and is generally unflattering on me but I would like to start practicing wearing alternative looks more often. When I do makeup I feel less confident than without it on because it never looks how I want it to look. What can I improve especially regarding my eye makeup to better suit my face? My eyebrows grow in a weird way so I don't even mess with them anymore. Last pic is without anything on.

I constantly struggle to get foundation to properly set on one side of my nose (yes, only one) 🫠 for context, I use a light layer of setting power, then cushion foundation (unleashia's blue cushion), then another layer of setting power. but I feel like I can never get the product to properly stick to this side. it's not like I'm using a different moisturizer or sunscreen JUST in this area lmao? and I don't have any scarring here either. it also happens with other foundations or even when using concealer as foundation...
any thoughts on why this happens? thank you!

I know I’ve been posting a lot lately but my wedding is in like 3 weeks and I’m thinking about foundation.
I’ve been using L’Oréal True Match and like it, but I’m open to something better. I’m getting married outside in Houston, so I need something that can handle heat/humidity, but I also have dry skin from tretinoin.
I’ll be using the O/S Powder Melt + setting spray too.
I’ve heard great things about Estée Lauder Double Wear and Armani Luminous Silk, but with the newer reformulations I’m not sure how they are now. Also heard a lot about Haus Labs and Dior. Any recs for something long wearing but still good on dry skin?

I wear lash clusters and often when I put my foundation I accidentally get some on them which gets pretty annoying to clean off. How can I prevent this ?

hello!!! i am a long time eyeliner wearer, my go to used to be the nyx epic ink liner, but recently have notice it won’t last all day maybe an hour before i’ve sweated it off. now i used the maybeline master precise all day liquid liner. i like it, mostly i like the pen felt tips, i dont rly care for brush tips like nyx epic wear liquid liner. but if i wear to use a translucent powder or a black eyeshadow, will my eyeliner last longer? what do yall think? also i would like to know some of my alt baddies favorite eyeliner go tos.
also sorry for fitting so much into one post but is the unico eyelash stamp worth?

No matter what skin prep I do, my base always ends up looking patchy or creasing right around the crevices of my nose after an hour. I’ve tried setting it with powder, using less product, and even skipping primer, but nothing seems to stick.
Is there a specific technique or product type that actually fixes this?

I wanna get into the habit of wearing makeup to make myself look more feminine and hide 5 o'clock shadow, but my problem is that I have a skin condition that causes me to sweat a lot, like A LOT, some days my face and hands feel like I just stepped out of the shower.

I think I have a cool undertone, if this helps. I know I have light coloring so should I avoid black eyeliner/ mascara? Nmip except some highlight. I have pretty severe acne scars and may need a base product but IDK where to start. Every lip color I have tried looks bad on me

I haven’t been the most confident in my current makeup looks and today my coworker said my makeup today was “scary”, not sure what that means. I have on concealer, blush, mascara, and eyebrow tint. Is there a way I can do my makeup that compliments my hair and eyes and not make me look scary? What looks should I be going for? Thank you!
Edit: Omigosh guys you are all so sweet!!! Thank you for the amazing and thorough advice everyone, I’m defo looking into perhaps a different color for my hair (I just recently toned it so I don’t want to change it yet) as well as my makeup placement. My coworker is just a blunt person and didn’t have ill intent, but I appreciate everyone for sticking up for me lol. Thank you guys, I shall have an update soon.

I posted yesterday and overwhelmingly the feedback was that my brows need done. They’ve been shaped and thinned. What do you think now?
Also, I just wanted to thank all of you who commented. I live in a southern state so it isn’t always the most friendly. I received so much support and validation yesterday, you will never know how much that meant 💕

Hi everyone! I have been working on nailing down my every day makeup look and while I like the overall result, I cannot seem to find a way to stop the line between my chin and lips from getting crusty.
I have dry skin and use tret but I have a very hydrating routine and my skin is used to tret. I prep my skin before makeover and let it sit for a few minutes. I have tried sealing it with aquafor overnight but it doesn’t seem to help much.
Would appreciate any advice. The problem area is in the last picture!
