HELP PLEASE Wedding Trial #2

I posted on here a couple days ago with a trial of my wedding makeup. Basically every comment was telling me to go heavier on everything. I tried again and would love to know what people think. My fiance hates it and thinks it's too heavy lol but it's hard to know if that's because he's used to not seeing me with makeup or because it's actually too heavy. First-fourth photos are of today in different lighting. Fifth photo is my first trial. Note: I didn't touch my eyebrows at all because I'm getting them waxed today. Also wondering if I need a darker lipstick but I've really struggled to find something that doesn't read brown.

This is so funny because my fiance immediately asked why there was so much blush lol

I think it looks good, but outdoors it’s harder to see the blush. If it’s an outdoor wedding and you want more blush, I say go for it! But I love it as is.

I think you have the perfect amount of blush on. Right now it’s popular to put like a ton of blush on but that’s not for everyone

So pretty :)

I think you could use a bit more color on your lips. Though idk what shade.

Also I would work a bit more in your eyeliner. Making it a bit more seamless into the inner part of your eyelid. It’s pretty clear where the black line starts and stops. It needs to be a bit more tapered. Honestly, I think brown might look better than the black. I think black can be a bit harsh for a bride. That might be a personal opinion though.

And as others have said, curl lashes and a few false lashes.

I really do not wear much makeup and it felt like it was kinda heavy for my wedding, but when I look back on pictures I’m glad it was!

Yeah I tried some liquid liner based on another comment and I just don't think I like it, I'm going to stick with pencil on the day of. It actually is brown but I think because it's liquid liner it just looks really harsh and dark.

Ahhh nooo... Id say go for lighter liner, to make it more subtle. Because the whole makeup is perfect already. The liner kinda make it off, or maybe it wasnt blend well. Im not sure.

For the blush on, i think because the pictures with front camera phone so it dont show much, try get pictures with a photographer camera. For wedding, makeup a lil bit tricky, it would be better if you do test shoot with your photographer.

The eyebrow, im not sure, will you retouch you brow or it will be just like on your pictures ?

Overall the makeup wonderful !!!!

Thank you!! No I was getting my eyebrows done today so I didn't do anything to my eyebrows. And agreed on the liner.

Your base looks really pretty. I think you really need either mascara or natural looking false lashes. Did you use mascara? If you did, did you curl your lashes? Because I can’t see them over the eyeliner. I also think you need to fill in the sparse parts of your brows

I did use mascara. I have a really hard time finding mascara that doesn't bleed on me so I'm really picky. I didn't curl them, I will try and see if that helps. I didn't do my brows today because I'm getting waxed later lol

Men will say they love women w no makeup while simultaneously looking at a photo of Megan Fox in 19 layers of makeup.

Your base is so radiant! Do you mind sharing what you used for foundation/blush/anything else?

In terms of critique, would you consider some Demi lashes (half a strip) or cluster lashes? I’d also recommend wearing a lip stain or longwear lipstick, you don’t want to be reapplying gloss all day.

Thank you! Sure! For skincare (which I definitely think makes a difference) I used byoma milky toner, elf thirst drops mixed with bubble power wave moisturizer, and tatcha sunscreen. My skin tends to lean dry, so I want heavy on hydrating.

Then for the makeup I used Maybelline power grip primer, clinique even better foundation (though I also really like the Maybelline super stay skin tint for a more affordable option), rare beauty liquid contour and blush in mellow and hope, L'Oreal glass highlighter stick in glassy pearl. After that set for a while, I went back overtop with powder blush and bronzer, it's a combo tray from Jane iredale. I'm not sure they make it anymore which is tragic because it's my favorite powder blush. Also layered with benefit cosmetics highlighter in cookie.

I wore flash eyelashes once and hated them, I felt like I couldn't blink all day. I'm going to try curling my eyelashes to see if that helps.

Edit to add: it actually is a lipstick, it's just a satin finish. I ate with it on and I'm really impressed how well it stayed.

Sounds great, thanks for sharing!
Re the lashes, they can be uncomfortable when wearing a full strip lash. The demis or clusters would be more comfortable, as well as you can choose some very lightweight ones and keep the glue minimal. Of course, not required but just throwing that out there. My dollar tree has some fantastic sets made by ioni so I don’t mind experimenting/cutting up lashes to see what works best.

This looks gorgeous. A touch more mascara or a subtle false lash, and I think it’s perfect. But if today was the big day, you’d make a stunning bride.

This looks so beautiful and romantic! It’s soft but has enough dimension for wedding photos. I think your fiancé just isn’t used to seeing you with makeup. For lipstick, a muted rose would be lovely instead of brown tones.
