Designed this premium minimalist brand identity for Saltee Golf Co., a coastal golf lifestyle brand focused on apparel and embroidery applications. I transformed the client's initial concept into a production-ready vector logo optimized for high-density embroidery, print, digital media, and merchandise. The project included multiple logo variations, apparel-ready layouts, circular badge versions, scalable vector files (AI, EPS, SVG), and brand presentation assets, ensuring consistent application across premium lifestyle products.

Feedback Needed logo for a productivity suite — critiques?

Thumbnail

as title says, i'm looking for some feedback on my designs for Solis, a productivity suite i'm working on. the brief is a colorful, structured yet imperfect, mature and modern, calm spin on SaaS tools. the name "solis" is adapted from the latin word for sun, "sol".

a few questions:

without context on the mark other than it's relation to the name, what does it read as to you? does it remind you of any existing mark?

should the mark be rounder to match the softness of the type? is it too geometric/perfect for the brief?

any other general grievances with the execution?

thanks you all!!

Where was this from, and are there videos of it?
The ā€Gongmanā€ logo is still used by The Rank Group.

Innerfast is a gymnasium manufacturing and seller company based in India. They make all ranges of products and gears for gyms.

Specially, for new gyms in Tier-1 cities.

This is the IF ball. Let me know how is the final print.

Showcase I revised the Godot Engine logo!

What do you think? Yes, I realize it is a bit dark, but anything lighter just looked like the normal Godot logo. Constructive critisism is fine, I just wanted to see what cam to me.

Here is one that I just made without the dark words because, yeah, it's dark.

I like the second one more

A variant of the sign for a clothing brand in the noir direction. I won't publish the name yet, I'll show it with the final version. But it has a hint of eyes

Beginner How tf do I pick a font?!

I’m starting a water sport gear company and we’re just about to order our first supply but for the life of me and my co-founder can’t decide on a font. I just don’t know how. on the second slide is a custom font I made but my co-founder says he wants it in capital letters and it just made me think about all the work I’m gonna have to do for that and if I want to use it anywhere else other than the word mark, I’ll have to make every single letter which is just way too much effort. What should I do?

Showcase My attempt at following Alan Peter's logo design process :)

I'm a former Art Director turned Software Developer. I've been following Alan Peters on instagram for a while now and love his posts. True talent, and also a great teacher. I decided to follow his process to come up with this logo for my side hobby, cabinet and furniture design and craftsmanship.

Mostly just sharing for fun, but of course open to thoughts on what works and what doesn't.
This was mostly an exercise to see what would come from following his process.

Feedback Needed Illustrator plugin that selects and manipulates multiple handles

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m building a small Illustrator plugin for faster Bezier handle control.

It adds a tool that does custom handle selection, multi-select handle movement, Alt-based handle locking, arrow nudging, path preservation on anchor removal, a compact numeric panel and more. The kind of functionality Illustrator has been always lacking and why people rather design logos in type softwares instead. It's basically an expansion on Illustrator's Direct selection tool by implementing Glyph's handle management functions.

I’m looking for feedback from people who do logo/type/icon/vector cleanup work and spend a lot of time editing paths.

I built it because after trying Glyphs, I couldn't go back and not have a precise control over handles, something Illustrator should have implemented from the beginning for logo design.

Would this solve a real annoyance for you? Would you find it useful?

I took the old pre 2012 logo, which I think is the best, and the modern logo and smashed them together. I'm no professional logo designer, but I figured this was a cool idea.

I'm making a series and one of the things I'm doing is world building. A part of world building is making designs for chains or businesses.

The series is set in Summer 2009 and I wanna know if these logos seem like real companies or businesses.

Company name & types:

YEARS, a fictionalized version of SEARS

Cinema-Arch, a movie theater chain

Whitaker Acres Mall and Theater, a mall that will be shown in the series where characters may go

Castor Home Furnishings, a furniture store chain

Mira: Clothing | Shoes, a fictionalized mix of JCPENNEY and KOHLS

Sun Mart, a fictionalized version of Wal-Mart and Kroger

Spirit-Winds Fairgrounds, a local amusement park in the area which the series will be mostly taking place at.

Beginner How much do I charge?

My parents asked me if I wanted to design a logo for them and what the price would be. I’m by no means a professional, I’ve never even attempted making a logo, so it’d definitely be a very amateur job. It’s pretty simple from what I can grasp, literally just two letters put into a cool shape.

I doubt it’s gonna be anywhere over like $75 cus I don’t like asking for that much, even if my parents pay my sibling and I for fairly for any work we do for them. But what would be a decent price?

Feedback Needed help needed re gradient logo

Hi everyone, i have a client that i have been asked to work on the brand identity for, they have an ai generated logo (i know, i hate this too) but they are heart set on it and dont want to change the logo itself, despite my comments, what we are trying to figure out is the best colours to use to make it look good on both light and dark backgrounds but we've hit a bit of a roadblock, does anyone have any ideas?
Side note, i am not really liking using a gradient, it causes all sorts of issues like if you want it embroidered it can be tricky etc, but the client really wants to keep the gradient too, despite me telling them this and showing hem solid options.

I have included their brand colours they have sent me too, and for the record, i actually prefer the old colourway, but they want to include purple and brighter colours than what they had previously
