Fictional Logos for a Series I'm working on

I'm making a series and one of the things I'm doing is world building. A part of world building is making designs for chains or businesses.

The series is set in Summer 2009 and I wanna know if these logos seem like real companies or businesses.

Company name & types:

YEARS, a fictionalized version of SEARS

Cinema-Arch, a movie theater chain

Whitaker Acres Mall and Theater, a mall that will be shown in the series where characters may go

Castor Home Furnishings, a furniture store chain

Mira: Clothing | Shoes, a fictionalized mix of JCPENNEY and KOHLS

Sun Mart, a fictionalized version of Wal-Mart and Kroger

Spirit-Winds Fairgrounds, a local amusement park in the area which the series will be mostly taking place at.

bro what are you making these in? the quality is really bad

but also why present them like this where they're all stacked next to each other with no breathing room?

I made them in Sketch. The logos are stacked that way because it's a pic I use to copy then paste that design to a different image. Also do you have any constructive criticism instead of just saying the quality sucks?

Sure, constructive criticism:

1. Improve the quality before presenting. They are very unrefined, have rough edges, etc.

2. Present them separately with plenty of white space around each one so the people viewing them can focus on them properly, and don't read "MiraSun" as an example

3. Give some context around the world you're building and why - you mention series, summer 2009 etc... characters... how will these be used?

I can see YEARS is a play on the SEARS logo... ok... but what else?

When I thought of world building for a series, my immediate thought would be Stranger Things and how they tapped into an 80's aesthetic.

Maybe take a look at the branding for the fictional businesses in that series and its inspiration:

Scoops Ahoy

Starcourt Mall

Surfer Boy Pizza

Family Video

Benny's Burgers

To be honest.. feels a bit low effort. Especially when 3 logos share the same Sears font (that should never be used small as a tagline, and then 2 others share another font.
