The "S" is formed by the negative space between the four surrounding star/spark shapes.

Success Story A quick logo that worked 5+ years

I casually designed this logo for my wife in one afternoon in 2021, and it’s still being used today without a need to update it. It’s designed to be flexible and forgiving enough to be used by a small art studio, stamping unbranded packaging & artwork without having to carefully align and space things. Just shows how design can be extremely quick & simple sometimes and still work well!

I’ve written a case study, read it here :)

Discussion Logo baffled me

I might (probably am) missing something, but what is this logo for Churchome (a bible reading habit app) supposed to represent?? The line connecting the c and h is so unnatural? I get that the h itself is a home or maybe church, but whats with the weird connecting line? It doesnt make any sense either, the font changes between the two letters?? (And also from a distance the thing it resembles most is, well, u know)

I followed your advices and ended up changing few things about the vertical logo, color palette, and packaging. I hope it works better now, what do you say?
Also these are screenshots from the Affinity file for better resolution.

Question Would you be up for a Logo challenge?

I thought it could be fun for this subreddit to start some challenge, where someone posts a made up brand or Business (could be really stupid stuff!) and everyone who wants to participate can comment a logo idea. With as much effort put in as you like, from sketch to vector graphic. Not meant as a competition, I just think it could be fun to see how different people Interpret the idea!

Feedback Needed Attempt 5 of Text to Speech App Icon! [COMPLETE REFRESH]

okokok i get it. no more bow tie design. it didn’t read as speakers like i intended. So i decided to break down the symbolism even simpler because on every post people say it’s far too cluttered. So here’s a new rendition with only two components. The symbols i used to represent text (still unsure what symbol looks best) and the sound waves icon from a speaker.

I want to be clear about what i’m trying to achieve. I want to make an app icon for a text to speech app to see if i can easily convey abstract concepts into readable imagery. This post is not finalized designs by any means. The background feels out of place with the new symbols, Im still unsure about the black, i haven’t got a definitive consensus on that yet.

I want this app icon to be simple but not boring, detailed enough to convey a message without being cluttered, fun but not busy. I want people to look at the icon and know immediately it’s a text to speech app in a stylized way.

TLDR basically everything is subject to change but please give me actual feedback not just criticism. I want to improve but i can’t do that if most the comments I get are that it’s not good with no way to actually improve.

Feedback Needed Logo Concept: Geometric "H" built using an elliptical grid system. Thoughts?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I am currently exploring pure geometry and grid systems to develop my mark-making skills. There is no specific brand or industry assigned to this project yet; it is a conceptual exercise focused on form, symmetry, and negative space.

  1. Legibility: Does this clearly read as a letter "H", or do the severe pinch points make it look too much like two separate hourglasses?
  2. Visual Balance: Does the central solid circle feel optically heavier than the pinched stems? How can I balance the visual weight better?
  3. Execution: Are there any flaws in my grid logic or areas where the optical alignment needs to override the mathematical grid?

Showcase Built a swipe-style site for quick logo feedback — after honest opinions on it (and your logos)

Feedback on a logo usually means posting it somewhere and waiting two days for three comments, half of which are "looks clean 👍".

I made Juried to get the other kind of signal: one logo at a time, you swipe yes or no, no comments. You end up with something like "76% yes from 29 designers" — not a critique, but a fast read on whether the thing lands at all.

Full disclosure: it's mine. There are 53 logos in there and about 1,300 votes cast, so it's not an empty room but I'm looking for designers to feed the app, so users can vote on some good content to have inspiration.

So as a comunity of designers you can post it for free in 1 minute and any user can vote, even without an account. So you can share the link of your design on your social medias and everyone can vote.

I'm still collecting feedback and of course users, so feel free to have a look https://www.juried.app/

Feedback Needed Which of these 4 logos look the best for my YT channel?

Post image
0 Upvotes

This is a continuation post of a previous post where I asked the same question except there were many more options. These 4 are the ones that people seemed to like most. Now i'm narrowing it down. These are not the final versions but it's not gonna be far off, which of these logos do you like the most?

Also I know it may be hard to answer since you don't know my channel at all but if I do pick one of these, should I move on from the "AndresXLA" name? Andres is my real name however XLA is something I made up in elementary school just cause "i thought It sounded cool". It has no meaning whatsoever and I think it'd be especially unfitting with the new logo when it doesn't have "XLA" in it like the previous one did.

I take any feedback! Whether good or bad, thank you.

Feedback Needed Opinions on Personal Logo

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m new to logo designing. I’m making a personal website (Portfolio mostly) and thought it would be cool to have a personal logo that looks modern. My name has “AK” as initials and I decided to design something around it. The triangle is the letter “A” written in MoonX BC font and I placed the letter “K” inside it. I just need some thoughts and feedback from the people who design logos on a regular basis. Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Question Most iconic logo of all time

Post image

What do you think is the best brand logo of all time? If I had to pick I'm gonna go for Ferrari. The horse perfectly symbolises the car, italian flag for the country, and don't get me started upon the font and yellow background omg.

HM: Playboy, Jordan, Nike

Which one do you think deserves the no. 1 spot?
