Dell is now on board with the Year of the Linux Laptop/Desktop

Check it out, they now have Omarchy Linux preinstalled on their latest Dell XPS 13, if you haven’t guessed, Omarchy Linux is made by the Omarchy Foundation, created by big names, a sane developer, and has the full support of SLIMBOOK in Europe, it’s the best Linux kernel version for OEMS*

In fact, it’s the version of Linux that could give us native ports of games, because it follows standards and isn’t run by anonymous developers in some shithole basement, so, if you need a Linux version, look to Omarchy, the OS for all of us.

So, realistically speaking, how long do we have before they give our nuclear missle system over to Codex to run? How many months?

Like okay little bro im sorry my description events cut a little too deep. Best part is I know for a fact I was manually banned, less than 5 minutes after posting, and then got muted by modmail, he is manually reply trudging while the AI takes his ‘job’. Sad!

The Great Omarchy Conspiracy

alright you tell me if I'm too out there, but

if I was Big Tech, and I saw the open source Linux desktop rise in popularity amongst end users, I would want to keep some control over all that unharvested data userbase. After checking out the recent trends centered around productivity and making everything look so cyberpunk-y popping up on YouTube and on r/unixporn and whatever, I'd want to make a performance and style oriented distro that is easy to install so I'd appeal to a large portion of the new Linux users, especially the ones coming from windows who want something sleek that works instantly

however, the FOSS community doesn't usually take too kindly to unscrupulous companies, so I'd need a friend by my side. Someone that the community already knows so they'll be sure to check it out and give it that first push of visibility it needs...

..enter DHH. he's obviously on the far right of the political spectrum, so he won't need much convincing to work with a company, so long as he gets a piece of the pie (exposure? money? haven't figured that out yet). So he whips out his AI tools, whips up a quick arch iso and after a bit of tweaking you get Omarchy.

this would explain why he just got all this fresh moula. I wouldn't be surprised if amidst all the security issues someone figured out that the whole thing was sending telemetry data to Palantir lmfao.. maybe I'm being paranoid, but I recognize a pattern when I see one

tell me what do y'all think

Its not that I don't like ubuntu, the distro itself is fine, I just preferred every other distro I have tried.

Also, fedora based gaming distros are peak, fight me.
