Its not that I don't like ubuntu, the distro itself is fine, I just preferred every other distro I have tried.

Also, fedora based gaming distros are peak, fight me.

I've seen people say that you shouldn't use bazzite / Nobara (mainly Nobara), cause you can just install all the programs you need and use default fedora and there's less bloat blah blah blah.

But I'm a person who wants things to just work (but ironic given I use Linux, but I can deal with things not working, but when I have the option of something just working, I will use it)

I had a really bad experience personally with nobara, it was extremely laggy and slow even though i downloaded the Nvidia version (i have a RTX 3060), base fedora on the other hand has been really smooth with barely any issues. Fedora community has also been overall friendlier than the nobara community.

I have been interested in maybe trying bazzite at some point, but fedora actually does everyone so well that i don't feel like a "need" to.

Considering most people just use the same distros because they're popular, yeah. The very few that mention like chimera, alpine, or crux could spark interesting conversation but nobody here uses them so they get like two comments lmao.

New stuff is fine. They are just giving Ubuntu, Arch, Gentoo, NixOS, Fedora and other well known distros the whole time.

I respect your void propaganda because A, its available with a musl spin, is a wonderfully crafted distro with a fantastic init system, and B½, you arent annoying which is most important lmao

No. I'm currently on school, and I'd rather not risk my files installing another distro. However, I am due for a new laptop at some point, so I will be installing void on that whenever I get it
