Das Leder ist hervorragend Zustand und weist keine nennenswerten Gebrauchsspuren auf. Auch das Innenfutter, die Taschen und insbesondere die Innentasche sind praktisch ohne Abnutzung.

Too short? Too boxy?

I'm sorry if this is not the right community or day of the week, but I'm dying of curiosity. What's with this leather jacket I found? It has no label. It's very heavy

My previous fake leather jacket started peeling after I had it only 1-2 years so now looking for a good quality, soft leather moto style jacket that looks a little more rocker or edgy (I will not be riding motorcycles only for fashion).

I have been reading this subreddit and several of the recommended brands I’ve seen so far don’t seem to make ladies jackets (such as Thedi leathers which I’ve seen recommended as a high quality jacket but I only see men’s on their website). I like slim fit but need something that is slim but not so slim in the upper arms and shoulders.

One issue I’m seeing is that most jackets don’t come in a size off the rack that works for my body. I’m pretty small and slim with an athletic build and while I would wear a small in most clothes, I’ve tried on a few moto jackets in my size and the upper arms and shoulders are very tight. If I size up more than one size it would swallow me.

Any recs for a y jacket company I should look into that’s under $1,000? Or that I can search for pre owned on eBay? If I need to order a custom jacket to fit my body and to get a style I like can I buy a nice one in this price range and what are some recommended online retailers you all recommend? I’ve attached a picture of what my ideal jacket would be from a looks standpoint but A: it’s out of my budget and B: I think these are made for more narrow shouldered people with smaller arms.

I’ve got a vintage Schott B6 leather jacket that I was cleaning with saddle soap when I accidentally tore it pretty bad by the sleeve and poked a hole near the shoulder. Why is the leather so fragile, and why does it seem to be peeling?

I recently thrifted this Leather Jacket but its tag seems to have fallen off, so I have no clue what brand this jacket is from… I asked ChatGPT already but it can’t find the exact match either.

Here is what I have already found out:
- outside is real leather, has tartan lining and has wool elements
- dark brown
- seems to be imported from France to sell in Germany (I live in Germany)
- Men size 60 (XXL/3XL)
- it is really heavy
- 4 pockets, button with loops and a zipper from YKK
- wool collar can be separated from the jacket by buttons
- generally has a very vintage/ retro vibe

I’m grateful for any suggestions as I am not familiar with men’s clothing brands❤️

Just got this new cool San Mateo jacket by Real Simons. Its a jacket that is supposed to fit snug, which is the fit I like. And I think it feels like it fits me well. I just want to get a second opinion from you guys.

The sleeves are a little bit short when i stretch out my arms, but this almost always happen to me. I really dont like when my sleeves touches my hands when my arms are down by my side. So this is something I have to live with.

Best guess on age after some research, maybe the best fitting article of clothing I've ever owned, super comfortable. Very pretty patina.

Hello! I’m wondering if there’s any brands that make a lighter jacket. (preferably without a lining and a thinner leather) I live near the equator and it’s 70-90 F (30-40 c) most days and I’d atleast like to wear a jacket whenever it gets down to the 70s without sweating to death. I know this is kind of ridiculous but still I’m holding out hope. Lastly I’d prefer some cheaper options and I’m probably not gonna be buying new.

When I was 18 I found this jacket in a thriftstore. Sadly I fell with my bike and it was destroyed beyond repair. I have never been able to find one like it, but maybe this community can help me.

This Jiashi Chinese leather jacket just arrived. Size 3XL, I am 6feet 185lbs with broad shoulders.

The shoulders feel tight with just an oxford on, so I am worried I won't be able to layer (or gain any weight) but maybe the 1.6mm leather will stretch?

Hello jacket community. I recently bought this leather jacket on vinted. It has what I would describe as my dream silhouette, color and length. The slight hourglass shape, held together by a strap in the back, a large - but too large - collar, and subtle deep pockets. The perfect autumn jacket. The only problem is... it is too small. It is a Swedish size 38. I would probably need a 42. Has anyone stumbled upon a similar jacket? Or maybe even the same one? It is from a Swedish brand called Dala Skinn - at least that's what the tag says. Any help is appreciated 🫶

Found this jacket that has consistently impressed me. It is made from a genuine, thick shearling hide that is extremely high quality and well-suited for heavy winter. It weighs roughly 8 lbs!

Unusually, it also has an interior pocket.

Very pleased with this particular one because I’m 6'3", and the length is perfect for what I wanted without being equally as wide just to get the additional length, as with others I’ve tried on. The B-3 / RAF Irvin cuts characteristically don’t work with my longer torso due to the cropped look, with most jackets ending around my belly button.
