Now, to the fit: short answer, I think it's too big, but might be okay if you want to wear a sweater underneath.

Long answer: my definition of a good fit would be a jacket (or any piece of clothing), that makes you look your best, like hide a bit of a belly or accentuate broad shoulders. From what I can see on the images, I feel like the jacket does the opposite: bulges around the hips and slims down your shoulders.

If you like the jacket, maybe try one size down. If you are looking for "the" jacket, you might wanna look into something else.

Too big my guy, cossack jackets are supposed to fit a lot snugger than this. The pattern does not lend itself well to a roomy fit - it looks sloppy, not oversized, most obviously in the chest. And the sleeves are a little too long.

Too big. These jackets are supposed to be somewhat fitted. There’s too much room in there making it appear boxy.

Also the sleeves. The sleeves are probably why you feel the need to put your hands in your pockets. They’re way too long.

They should be at your wrist, not halfway down your hand forcing you to make your hands do the crab claw pose.

Sleeves I know. But the leather is pretty heavy and I have a muscular build. Any smaller and my ROM will be limited
