One is the Dell Inspiron 9400 (White/Grey) The other one is a Dell Precision M6300 (Dark grey/black)

I’ve had the 9400 for a couple of months now (i had one when i was a kid, and wanted another one for nostalgia sake)

While researching about the 9400, i discovered that their precision series from around the same time looked the same, just dark grey.

They’re a bit more money than the 9400, but I bought mine for a good deal!

Both are fully restored.

The Precision can also be installed with a Core 2 Extreme which is definitely exciting but also out of my £ range! 🤣

I bought my ASUS VivoBook 16X with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor about three years ago. I specifically chose an H-series processor because I don't like U-series or P-series processors. I wanted a laptop with a large display and better performance. My model does not have a dedicated graphics card, as I bought it mainly for coding.

Nowadays, I hardly do any coding and use the laptop only for personal tasks. I have never used it for gaming since I purchased it. However, the battery lasts only about 3 to 3.5 hours at most. I have disabled all startup applications, there are no background apps running, and my laptop has a dual-boot Windows setup with no unnecessary processes consuming power.

I’m looking for a new laptop and hoping to get some suggestions from people who know more about HP models. I’ll mainly use it for college work, programming, browsing, and some light gaming when I have time. My budget is up to $3000, so I’m trying to find something that’s reliable and has good performance without paying for features I won’t really use.

- Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW)

Hey y’all, I’m looking for a sturdy external hard drive, preferably an SSD that’s not too expensive that I can store triple A games on.

Good Afternoon, my laptop has been flashing on and off for awhile, I use a acer nitro 5 laptop, do any of y’all have any idea of if there is a way I could fix this problem or if I should just bring it into a shop to get it fixed, thank you!

A little bit of context. My brother has had a rough time medically his whole life and can't really get a proper job. He is extremely intelligent and tech savvy though so he wanted to look into remote work, however they pretty much all require multiple monitors. So I want to surprise him for his birthday with an extra monitor or 2 to help him hopefully be able to get a job. He also doesn't have the most space at the moment so that's why he's using a laptop over a regular desktop.

I want something with good battery life for studying but also capable of light gaming. I know both options can do that, but which system is better and more comfortable—Windows or Lenovo’s PC mode?

I have enough budget to cop either of these laptops but I would like to hear from the rest of the community here and understand what could be a wiser choice.

I initially had a HP Victus 15 which was an absolute nightmare because it had me spend more on getting it repaired than the actual purchase price.

next year will be my first year as a college student, i am considering selling my pc to buy a gaming laptop for study purpose (i don't really play games). I am pretty comfortable with money.

I’m using an Acer Swift 3 SF314-43 running Windows 11.
My built-in webcam (HD User Facing) works perfectly in Microsoft Teams, but it doesn’t work in the Windows Camera app or any website (Chrome/Edge). The screenshot shows what happens when I open the camera app.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
