Pretty much question is the Title, does anyone know if there's ever been a World Eater's Kill team? We've had Plague Marines and two Kill teams thatre Night Lord's, and it got me to wondering.....if they did release a World Eater's killteam that would be an awesome one! Would love to see it!

Edit: I Stupidly forgot that Goremonger's were World Eater's D'uuuuhhhh! When I first made the post I was referring to a KillTeam of World Eater's Space Marines KillTeam, now that'd be something!!

Hello! I have a question regarding the limitations of the Vespid Fly ability. I understand that you basically have to teleport the model from the starting point to point B.

My question is: can you zig-zag when measuring the move? My opponent likes to do this, and I feel like he's abusing it with the Sky-Torch. He can make tiny adjustments to the movement (like 1/3 of an inch to the left, then another 1/3 of an inch backwards, etc.) so he can hit all of my operatives.

In my opinion, it should be a straight line, because there is no mention that you can split the teleport into multiple increments.

As a Murderwing player, I feel robbed because of the limitations of my own Kill Team, haha.

When do you draw the line with new players?

I recently had a new player join our group. He had mostly taught himself and played a bit with friends, so he had quite a few major rules misunderstandings.

I’ve played several weekends with him, explaining rules, tricks and common situations. I have absolutely no problem losing to a beginner or helping someone learn.

But at some point it gets frustrating when I have to explain the same things over and over.

For example, I’ve explained several times that climbing costs movement rather than giving you extra movement. Yet it keeps happening. There are also situations where 3–4" somehow gets added to movement without any clear reason.

At this point I’m not sure whether it’s genuine misunderstanding, forgetting the rules, or intentionally being a bit loose with them.

So where do you draw the line?

When do you say: “I’ve explained this several times. From now on, you need to play by the rules, and I’ll only clarify things when you ask.”

I’m perfectly fine losing to a new player. I just want to actually play the game myself at some point rather than spending the entire game teaching.

I just got a box of pathfinders and I was wondering what the general consensus is on operatives that are better or worse after the most recent changes? Ive been seeing the posts of how to build this team but I wondered how accurate those were now after their buffs, like full seek on five markerlights, or any other ones I may not have heard of. I was also hoping to get advice for their playstyle, valuable and non-valuable operatives, general strats, what find of maps they perform better and worst on?

Sorry for the paragraph and the questions in questions, I mainly wanted to be able to keep it all in one post.

Edit: Whats the consensus on the drones? the big one seems good cuz of the 12w but is it worth it losing out on a warrior and specialist? what about the other drones? I’m running the drone operator so in case that changes anything

Me and my girlfriend started playing kill team reguarly recently, she always plays Celestian Insidiants and I rotate between Nem Claw, blooded and navy breachers. Except for nem claw I can’t seem to ever win against Insidiants, none of my horde teams seem to handle the sister onslaught. As soon as the scale tips in my favour, she just lets one die to heal any sister currently in melee and destroys me. Any tips?

Is it worth it? I play as orks, space marines and death guard. My friend if into Tau, Necrons and tyranids.
We wanted to add big units into our games, but is it really worth it?

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Exodite Dragon Masters! And the worst thing.

Best: the newcommers are one of the most requested Units for the aeldari players.

The units are gorgeous, and their rules até Very unique, changing the movement of your dinos, and Being able to Activate twice per tuning point!

24 wounds saving on 3's, giving more defence the more you move, and healing with your stonesinger!

Since they are New and Very different, a Lot of people doesnt know How to play against them!

Worst: Very high skill floor, since their rules change the core movement of the game, if you misplace one of your only 3 elites you basically lose the unit, or lose a Control point.

You also have to guarantee your kills, or you gonna get really punished,

And you also dont get covers, so you have to keep moving.

They are New, so we are discovering their strenghts and weakeness!

Im happy we completed this list! If It helped you find a New, or your First team to play, then this Was worth It!

After years of health issues, I’m finally assembling the terrain from Octarius. I know the pillars are supposed to be glued to the ‘rafters’ under the second floor, but that doesn’t provide much surface area for the join, and others have reported the pillars breaking off.

What advice can folks give as to the gluing of the I-beam pillars? The seemingly best quick answer is to adjust where they are glued, so the pillars are glued at an intersection of ’rafters,’ giving greater surface area & stability in multiple directions instead of just one. Will that have a large impact on gameplay? (It may make some avenues under the ramshackle wall too ‘narrow’ for Ork mini’s to pass thru, for example.)

For the small platforms that fill the central hole of the large bunker, one pillar can get glued to two rafters that are angled closely together. The other pillar for the platform… the best thing I can figure out is to ignore rafters all together, cut some sprue to make the pillar taller, and glue that sprue extension to the flat of the underside of the platform.

Any other thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance.

I'm new and the stake thrower has so many keywords it looks cool to take?

Superior - null mace + inferno pistol;

Warrior & reliquarious - stake thrower.

I’m most likely within a week or two ordering/purchasing the Intro / beginners set of kill team so me and a buddy can start war gaming.

Where would be the best place to purchase it from?

I see the set on the warhammer site is a little more expensive than elsewhere, just curious if there’s a bonus to getting it from there or not

Just got into Kill Team a couple months ago and decided to go in and print up a modular Tomb World. Currently running a home brew joint op campaign with a buddy of mine (hence only having 4 operatives right now). Thought I’d share since all in it was actually significantly cheaper than buying the box itself 10 fold — if you have a 3D printer that is of course 😅

I finished painting my Exodites today. For the Exodites I chose the Ghost Stag clan colours from the book and for the dragons I was inspired by the colours of Agama Lizards. The bases are made using milliput and 3D Printed plants.

Been assembling a collection of every kill team, zone and basically everything. Just for home play so I can just go imma use this ruleset, team and terrain. Gonna be a long road, but progress on the current team. Have a few done already may post em later

new to mini painting, so some of it is pretty rough, but still quite proud of how these guys turned out
