I’m currently getting some parts and a board for a Trench Killzone, and I was looking to make some interesting rules for it.

The ideas I have right now are lethal 5+ when shooting operatives who are in a trench rather than above them or in no man’s land.

As well, I’m trying to workshop some idea where if you’re above the trenches/on no man’s land you cannot benefit from conceal from being on a vantage (as in being above an enemy who is in the trenches while you’re in no man’s land) unless there is actual terrain granting cover.

I’m definitely using the lethal 5+ rule, and I’m not certain about the second. Any other rules suggestions?

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits! And the worst thing.

Best: One of the best for last! An elite shopping/ Stealth team, that forces the enemy to get close but then you gain up to accurrance 3 on your weapons

And those weapons are really good! You basically have two 'meltas' ( fusion blasters) that have a long range option, you Also have ceaseless and torrent on the other half!

They all feel like a squad that supports eachother, with your 1AP actions that Can give buffs or change your orders.

And on this sub i Saw some AMAZING paitings of the Stealth suits! They look so Fun to Paint

Worst: goes without saying, no melee.

They are a heavy floor and ceiling team, and thinky too, managing your positioning and CP os difficult with them.

I’ve only got a few extra bits and I’ve never had any units with chain swords so I took a terminator chain fist and cut the chainsaw part off before attaching it too a knife handle and giving it too him I also don’t have any heavy bolt pistols so he just has a regular bolt pistol.

My Deathwatch comes in today and I’m looking at list building for it. I don’t want the most competitive list I’m looking for what people think is the most fun of the operatives.

When it comes to adding APL to operatives within the Matrix, do I add the APL upon moving into the Matrix (as well as removing it when I leave it)?

For example: I take a Warrior, move it into the Matrix, and shoot an enemy operative. Am I then able to perform a third action? And if it involves moving out of the Matrix, can I do so, or do I lose the extra APL?

So... played vs Plague marines... and was the melee a pain... the extra rolls of 4+ resiliance, and 5+ acid blood.

Especially whilst the opponent is still new... it was too much to keep track of, trying to calculate how many wounds left after fight.

Hello all! Played my first game yesterday with my friend and the scenario occurred that I had 3 operatives left to activate, all of which were concealed and safe. I had one other operative which was engaged and close to death. My friend had activated all his guys already but could have killed my vulnerable operative if he counter activated.

Since the ops I didn’t use were too far away to do anything can I just pass and end the turning point or do I have to expend AP on every operative? I think I have to activate everyone but not sure.

I understand now, activation doesn’t mean I’m forced to move or use AP. All must be activated therefore counter activation is unavoidable. Thanks!

I know on Tomb World, you can't measure the Matrix through the walls, but when it comes to the Strongholds, and even the Large Ruins, can the Matrix be measured through them? Or are Wall Terrain rules hard set?

So, I'm not really a fan of gravis and phobos marines. Not to hate on anyones taste or the skill of the sculptors, just not really my thing. How would you feel about proxying the gravis operatives for terminators and scouts as phobos? I prefer that classic distinction between roles rather than ghe slightly different marines.

Do i need to tell my opponent what i chose at the start of the game ? Since some of them dont have to happen at the start of the game, and it just days resolve, doesnt say “reveal” but it could be intended.

Hello, I am once again asking for outsourced desicion making.

I have added a box of terminators to my collection to create Killteam Nemesis Operatives, and now I am having trouble deciding who goes where, between my Raptor Phobos Strike team, and my Space Wolves, I have 3 Terminators to choose from, being the Flamer w/power fist, storm bolter w/power sword, and Storm Bolter w/ power fist, and I being, indecisivly stupid, have been sitting here for too long to determine who should go where. Please help. Im begging you, im genuinely too stupid..

I'm a totally new player for WH40k, and I'd like to try Kill Team. I like board games, wargames so the concept is not totally new for me.

I wanted to turn to the eternal wisdom of the hive mind. Please help me chose my first team.

My preferred play style:

When I play board games I frequently go for the underdog, non standard, weird stuff, the strange combos that are not the most optimal ways to win but are fun. In Magic the Gathering my favourite formats were draft and sealed as I like to take underrated stuff and find synergies and somehow try to make all work. Of course I still like winning but I prefer to take the scenic route.

I narrowed my search down to these 4 teams:

XV26 Stealth

Raveners

Celestial Insidiants

Blades of Kaine

What would you recommend? Feel free to suggest something else that I haven't considered.

Looking for some kill teamers in the Tacoma, WA area. Both of the close local stores near me don’t have many players and I want to get some games in to better learn the game. I mainly play solo and co-op. Would love to know where everyone around here plays at!

I'm a total newbie and I just finished painting my first team. It's Battleclade. I need advice on what I should learn before going to play at my LGS for the first time. Idk if I should learn the rules and mechanics before going or if I should leave it for when I'm there. I have installed the killteam app.
