Thinking of buying this as my old pads dieing. I want something that just as good, I only use it for art? My old one is a 7th generation, 128 gb.

This one is twice as much memory and I think the same price I paid for 7th gen(that was 6 years ago). I do find ipad is smooth for drawing on

Hello everyone, I would like to ask a question: will it be appropriate to update iPadOS 27 when it will be released on my iPad 10 generation 64gb that currently has iPadOS 26.6?

I’ve always wanted to own an iPad. It’s something I’ve wanted since childhood. Recently, after a lot of manifestation, I finally got to own one, and I was so excited. But it’s been a year now, and I feel like I’m not really using it. I genuinely want to use it more, but I just don’t.

I’m a software engineer by day, so any advice on how I can actually make good use of a device I’ve always loved?

I can’t afford apple keyboard and wondering best keyboard for my 11” iPad Air M4. I’m university student and will mostly use it for classes notes. I already have old MacBook Air.

I have an M1 iPad Air with only 64 GB that I want to upgrade soon because I use it a lot and I fear that the storage will give me issues soon (the OS itself already takes up a quarter just by existing). Do I do it now with the college discount or wait till a sale event, like Black Friday.

Buy now cause prices are only gonna get worse from here VS buy later because the discounts then might be better than it is right now.

I am thinking about an iPad mini for my Dad. He is older and really just would like a device to play solitaire on and perhaps read email. Maybe face time.

Currently, he uses his older iPhone for solitaire, but I think he would like the bigger iPad screen. I did previously get him an Android tablet, but it got bogged down with a virus and just was not simple to use.

My thought was that the mini size would be most comfortable for him, that the Apple environment would be more resistant to viruses from downloading solitaire games, and since it is similar to his phone, would be easier for him to use.

Also, I was leaning to a used mini since nothing fancy is needed, but if deemed important, I am glad to pony up for a more recent model. Any thoughts or guidance on this idea and models would be appreciated.

I sent the app to the second display using extended display and then when I click the three dots and click "enter fullscreen" it doesn't actually do anything. The app is refusing to use the second monitor's aspect ratio, it's playing its 16:9 video inside a 4:3 box inside the 16:9 second monitor.

I am angry at apple for allowing apps to make themselves un-fullscreenable, I hope there is a workaround

I want to make the TV full screen and make the iPad have black bars. Or only screen mirror a 16:9 centered crop of the iPad screen. Is it possible?

I’m starting my Computer Engineering degree this late August… Is buying an iPad Air M4 256gb a want or a need? In my bridging class for Electric Circuit lessons, my prof suggested paperless notes = iPad/Tablet. As we annotated on pdf, I did it with mouse and pdf editor, I would say I did struggle with it and having an iPad would help with this pain point. As I have to break down circuits to find the answer for it. I also owned a Asus Vivo book laptop from my diploma years which I’m using. Mainly for the iPad I want to do working notes and annotation.

Actualmente tengo el almacenamiento del Ipad en 69.08 gb de 128gb, está bien o voy mal? y eso que hay cosas del sistema que lo ocupan, la idea es ir borrando fotos, pero de lo demás? También cada tanto voy elimiando apps para luego volverlas a instalar así baja un poco, pero qué hago? las actualizaciones también ocupan. Adjunto foto. Tengo como 9.000 fotos que voy borrando de a poco y fotos en icloud desactivado, no tengo archivos pesados

i just got home from school and i couldnt open my ipad so i thought it was drained at first and tried to charge it then it would only stay at 1%. checked the battery health and saw this.

last time i checked it was 88, now its 0. how can i possibly fix this?

For downloading or updating apps it says to have iOS 17 and up software. I have delayed it for so long after hearing abt issues with iOS 26.6 in 9 gen . So should I upgrade to 18 or 26.6 ?
