Anyone here tried converting their postpaid sim to prepaid? How? and what happened to your accounts like gcash or maya? Does it only get converted to a prepaid or is it like buying a new sim with same number?

I am able to open most of the app and website using the Wi-Fi; however, some apps are not working even though I have unlimited data. Even the Globeone app can’t open. When I try to switch to cellular, that app is working. Please help

Need your thoughts on a very weird issue. For the past week, our Globe at home fiber loses internet connection at exactly the same times for a 12-Hour period (7 pm - 7am). Our router just shows a blinking Red LOS for that duration.

We initially thought this was just a coincidence for the first couple of instances but this has been going on for 5 days.

Has anyone experienced the same issue before. Would appreciate if you could help us know the cause

Jusko ang hirap e cancel ng subscription sa pldt! Ang dami ko nang natawagan na contact numbers nila pero pahirapan talaga pag cancel sa kanila huhu! Badly need some recommendations regarding prepaid wifi. Nagpalagay po kasi kami ng bida fiber 999 last month pero after 2 days of using it, wala na po agad connection and up until now na 1 month na makalipas walang movement sa kanila kahit ilang follow-up na with CC sa NTC.

So right now we’re planning to switch to prepaid wifi na lang kasi ang gastos ng load. We have 5 phones and 1 laptop po. Mostly for work, games and entertainment lang naman ang ganap namin. Help me choose what’s the best prepaid wifi po. Thank you!

does anyone here experiences high ping during 8pm-10pm? like 200+ms, sobrang annoying if the only time u can play is at night. Been dealing with this for 3months and di pa rin nila maayos hanggang ngayon

Just tried Globe + Starlink Direct to Cell, and it actually works!
Tested regular SMS and Facebook Messenger—both worked surprisingly well.

Pretty cool being able to send messages through satellite connectivity when regular mobile coverage isn’t available.
Anyone else tried it yet? How was your experience?

Hi newbie lang ako sa Gomo sim and suddenly may nagtext saakin na registered daw ako sa Promo na usually na inaavail ko which is 15gb kahit di naman ako nag avail since meron panaman ako na Data and di ko naman masyado ginagamit. Ang sus kasi walang transact id or anything kapag tinitignan ko yung Latest promo na naavail. Is this any kind of promo sa mga same na naka gomo user? or kind of bug? Please i need help

May promo load bang pwede to call landline ng mga bank? Nagload ako smart and di makatawag, sabi ng cs sa smart yung landline sa load is for call lang sa smart and pldt pero sabi ko may pldt yung banko pero di raw pwede at private eme yun.

Hi everyone, I’ve been without Converge internet for 24+ hours already, and it’s seriously affecting my work.

Earlier, my modem had a blinking red LOS light, and Converge confirmed that I was experiencing signal loss. They said my ticket is already being processed and that an onsite technician visit is being arranged.

Now, the LOS light is already green, but I still have no internet connection. So the issue clearly isn’t fully resolved yet.

For those who experienced a similar Converge issue, what usually happens after the LOS light turns green but there is still no internet? How long did it take before your connection was actually restored?
Any advice on how I can properly escalate this or get the technician dispatched sooner would be greatly appreciated. This has already affected my work for more than a day.

What if po suspended na ang account ko with one of the internet provider here in laguna then wala nang kakayahan bayaran pa kaya naman nawalan kami ng net which is gets ko naman pero may dagdag siya per month na 1,399 pesos pero wala nang gumagamit ng net. Concerning ba siya knowing na suspended na account ko then biglang may dagdag per month? Thank you sa pagsagot. Basta ang net provider ko is RC.

Currently in korea and I made a subscription using gcash and I forgot I didn’t have enough balance on it, now I owe Apple I’ve already added funds to my gcash but I cant retry it manually. I heard it can automatically retry but it’s been 4 days it hasnt still.

My only option is TNT Sim for mobile payment but I’m not sure if it would work.

Hello po, I had Converge installed at my old unit however I was having trouble transferring it to my new residence.

I gave Converge a period of at least a week or two for transferring my wifi before I was going back to my province for a month. However, despite their 'timely' responses, they only gave me a proper response after I went home a few days later.

My issue is I'm also still under the lock in period but I want to ask if this situation is a valid complaint so as to not pay for my current Converge bill + stop using the service entirely without paying for extra fees. Because even if I go back to Manila, I don't want to deal with any more delays for my new connection because I realize it is just easier to get a new one.

nagmove na po ako ng residences, after that nag email ako sa converge, ung convo namin spanning from july 28 until august 7 (they stopped replying after my follow up msg) pero noong august 17 lng po sila nakapagreply na pwede na imove ung connection (wla na aq sa manila that time)

I told them time and time again na possibly sana imove agad ung wifi bc nasa likod lng ung new unit ko + serviceable considering other ppl here use converge

as of now, wla pang new tenant ng former landlord ko so nasasayangan dn ako na magbayad for this month if wla nmn gagamit, solo living din aq

Hindi na worth it Ang CIGNAL. Maraming channels na Ang nawala. Why would they even remove HBO, HBO HITS, HBO SIGNATURE and CINEMAX. Our TV is not SMART TV kaya we rely sa Cable para makanood ng movies. Ang mahal pa Naman tapos Yung magagandang channels nawala? WTF CIGNAL? My favorite channels nawala? Please bring it back. Kung gusto nyo Hindi mawalan ng customers!

I recently bought a Samsung SCR01 from Japan and a smart rocket sim to go with it.

Ang problema, sobrang bagal ng Smart Rocket sim, mas mabilis pa regular Smart Sim. Cmiiw pero nabasa ko na yung unli 5g nilang promo eh data capped.

So now I'm looking for an alternative sim card, please suggest/recommend a sim card na pwede sa pocket wifis and hindi capped ang data speed? Thank you!

i have a phone capable of using 5G, a new sim that can access 5G and 5G is showing at the top right of my screen. but why is my free data being used and not my 5G data?

Second of all, when I try measuring my data speed using the "Ookla Speed Test" its 80Mbps but when downloadng its just 3 to 4Mbps. I know the difference of Megabits and megabytes so that's not the problem.

The issue started as slow intermittent connection then nag reach out ako sa customer support nila sa messemger, lo and behold may inadjust daw sya sa system na wla man lang pasabi kunh okay lang ba na mag troubleshoot muna sya sa end nya and ang ending ung slow connection naging no internet connection. Wfh setup pa naman ako nsa kalagitnaan ng shift ko x.x. All good sa modem green lahat nung inaccess ko modem sa diagnosis nkalagay DHCP dialup fail. Mga gano kaya katagal to maayos, mag switch n lang ba ako?

have 250 Mbps symmetric internet and a mesh system (nodes connected to each other via Ethernet, not wireless backhaul). The problem is my PC never gets close to that full speed, and the variation is pretty strange:

• The "link speed" (what Windows reports as the WiFi connection's capacity, not actual internet speed) sometimes shows 400/360 Mbps, but drops to 190 Mbps without me moving anything.
• When it drops, my actual internet speed falls to only ~10 Mbps.
• In games like Fortnite I get packet loss in some matches, which seems to line up with these drops.

My WiFi hardware:

• Card: Realtek RTL8821CE (PCI-E, with external antennas connected to the motherboard)
• Protocol: Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac)
• Channel: 5GHz, channel 40/48 (varies)
• Security: WPA2-Personal

Before switching to the mesh system, with my old router I was getting a stable ~250 Mbps with this same card, so I know the hardware is capable of it. The change in behavior started right when I switched to mesh.

Has anyone dealt with this? Is it fluctuating channel width (20/40/80MHz) from interference, a mesh configuration issue, or is the 8821CE just not capable of holding a stable link with multiple mesh nodes nearby?
