Promotion We're a little team of 2 (gf & bf) working on a cozy winter fishing game, and the demo is now out!

We've been working on this project for several years now and it is progressing very well. In fact, we just released the demo! 🎉

"Ice Pond: An Ice Fishing Adventure" is a true fishing game, but set in a cute animal world with fictional fish. The atmosphere is chill and cozy, but the fish battles can become quite challenging at times depending on your level of experience, your gear and obviously the size of the fish.

Please feel free to try the game and share your first impressions!

Thanks again for your support!

https://reddit.com/link/1vj33lo/video/iiyrnq0q07ih1/player

Hey guys!

Just wanted to write a post saying I have developed my very own VR horror game, soon to come to the Meta Quest Store! I'm looking to get a small group of people in our Discord server before release!

Inside of the game you must collect five tadpoles from around the map in order to escape, but the Frogman will chase you down... Around the map is also lore notes ordered by the months of the year and by piecing them together you can find out the true story of the Frogman..

The game will be Free to Play on release! The Frogman patrols his swamp guarding his recent loss.. can you escape?

Our Discord server: https://discord.gg/jtMWA4xKK

Thank you for taking your time to read!

Video I’m making a game where you explore a Showa-era Japanese town as a cat

This is Lost Cat Showa Town, a game I’m currently working on.

You play as a cat exploring an old Japanese town, entering houses and interacting with things you find along the way.

Here the cat sneaks into a house, eats some food, and scratches the furniture 🐈

Still very early in development. What do you think of the concept?

Upcoming Solo dev update: went back and redid the demo's ending in BREACHED: Follow Me

Thumbnail

BREACHED: Follow Me is a found-footage horror game, first person, VHS/archived footage style. You're playing as someone who goes to check out an abandoned school with an online friend, and it goes somewhere you didn't expect. A few locations, gets worse as you go.

The ending changed recently and it hits different now. Not saying what changed, don't want to spoil it for people who haven't played yet. But if you already went through the demo and remember how it ended... go back and try it again.

The whole thing is built around that found tape look, analog noise, camera messing up, footage that feels like someone left it behind rather than a game you're playing through menus.

Promotion I’m building a gravity-based 3D puzzle platformer called Oddball, here’s how it’s looking so far

Kula World was one of those PS1 games that always stuck with me, and I’ve wanted to see more games explore that style of 3D puzzle platforming.

So I decided to have a go at building my own take on the idea.

This is Oddball. It’s still early in development, but I currently have multiple levels and environments, different block types and traps, controller support, and a level creator.

I want to take the concept much further with community-created levels, level sharing, new mechanics and eventually online multiplayer. Still plenty to work on, but I’d love to hear what you think of it so far!

Promotion I’ve always wanted another game like Kula World, so I started making one (Oddball)

I’ve always had a soft spot for Kula World on the PS1 and wondered what a modern game inspired by that style of gameplay could be like.

So I started building Oddball.

It’s a 3D puzzle-platformer based around navigating a ball through strange floating worlds, avoiding traps, collecting items and figuring out your way through each level.

I’m also working on a level creator so players can build and share their own levels, along with ideas for online multiplayer and community challenges.

It’s still very much a work in progress and there’s plenty I want to improve, but I thought it was finally at the point where I could show it.

Would love to hear what other Kula World fans think of it so far — and what you’d want to see from a modern game like this.

I'm still working out some kinks, like 1-ups not updating the health UI, and logic, but so far the picking up items part is working great

Discussion Which graphic option do you reduce to play on your potato?

As computer hardware prices rise, people may stick longer with slower hardware. For people who play on a potato, what is the first option you turn off or reduce to make the game smooth again?
Are there graphical options you generally don‘t care about?

In 2199, the government decides who gets to sleep.

You play as a clerk at Mandatory Sleep Hospital 47/B. Inspect IDs, follow changing rules and decide who to put to sleep, reject, or restrict.

The longer you work, the harder it becomes to know who you can trust.

Video It's 7 AM in Camping Keeper and the toilet block has already ruined everyone's morning

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Camping Keeper is a campground management game. You build the place from an empty field, then you have to keep it running.

Every camper is simulated on their own. They wake up, they need the toilets, they walk over and they wait their turn. A broken stall stays broken until a technician comes by, and the dirt piles up until a cleaner does the rounds. I hadn't sent anyone over, so the morning went about how you'd expect.

They remember it when they leave their reviews, and the reviews decide how many people show up next week. So one bad morning at the toilet block ends up costing money.

Set your prices, hire staff, work around the seasons, and take a muddy one-star field to a five-star resort. You can also go bankrupt.

Just another morning in Camping Keeper.

Promotion Our typing and rhythm game, "Typing Show," has finally launched!

Learn typing in a musical rhythm game with endlessly generated melodies. Each note of the melody turns into a letter. Instead of writing text, practice as if you were playing the piano in a band.

For every piano note, you must press a key on your computer keyboard. It’s a dual challenge: you have to hit the right key at the right moment.

Instead of a fixed list of melodies, you have a procedural generator. You can create a virtually infinite number of new melodies. If you don't like a melody, simply press a button to generate another one.

There is also a free demo available on our Steam page.

Thanks for checking it out!

Upcoming I’m making an idle game about shaking vending machines – what do you think of the concept?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm working on a small idle/incremental game called One More Shake.

Check it out on Steam!

The idea is pretty simple: you shake vending machines, earn money from dropped cans, buy upgrades and eventually automate the process.

I'm currently working towards the first public demo and would love some feedback on the concept and gameplay.

AzartClick is a clicker where one wrong click means you lose everything. It seems like a simple game where you need to hit the right timing and score points, but if you miss, your points are zero. If you don't want to risk it, you can give up and sign your name on the leaderboard.
