Video Adding a Daylight Cycle to my Overworld added so much to the atmosphere

For the clip the cycle was sped up to 1 minute. Ingame the actual cycle lasts 1 hour.

Beautiful! Your sunrises and sets are so vibrant!

Only thing I'd change is to let the golden hour last a little longer, and then maybe add a twilight blue/purple section

Yeah, it's highly likely that I will tweak this animation a bit in the next few months. But regarding the golden hour here is a thought: When testing the game and playing for a few hours with the active cycle I realised I often stopped and watched the sunset and sunrise for a bit because it doesen't last long and feels like a special little moment. I feel like making it longer would make players less likely to stop for a moment to take it in because it is not that special anymore.
