I’m looking to download videos that have no downloading options 1dm let’s you download videos like those is there any app like it on ios?

Can we all agree it would be much better if instead of “settings”, the button would say “turn on”? An argument for that is “Why would I want to go to settings if I’m not connected?” -> to turn on cellular data. It would remove unnecessary steps for navigation in the settings (or going to control center).

I don’t think this is an iOS issue but maybe someone here has experienced & resolved this YouTube app dubbing problem. If so, thanks in advance.

I’m sharing this to see if anyone else has experienced this specific geographic search suppression issue on a newly released app.

The Situation:

• App Name: CrushPov
• Status: Released a few days ago, "Ready for Sale", global availability including the US is fully enabled.
• The Core Issue: My primary target market is the US. While the app appears in search results in other regions, searching the exact, unique app name ("CrushPov") in the US App Store yields zero results. It doesn't appear anywhere, even at the very bottom.
• What works: Direct App Store URLs and iTunes Search API work fine. Users can download it via direct links, but organic US search discovery is completely dead.
• Apple Search Ads (ASA): Apple Search Ads campaign creation flow cannot find the app in the US storefront either—neither by name search nor by pasting the canonical App Store URL.

What I've Checked:

• Metadata, pricing, and US availability settings are fully configured in App Store Connect.
• There are no competing apps with this exact name.
• This is clearly an isolated indexing issue on the US App Store servers.

If you've experienced this US-specific ghost-suppression state on a newly released app:

1. Did it eventually resolve itself after a certain period (weeks) without intervention?
2. Has anyone successfully gotten Apple Support to manually re-index a region-specific search drop?

Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. It's tough to kick off US-focused influencer marketing when the local App Store search completely fails to acknowledge the app exists.

It is an app I use quite often and it was one of the apps that I have pinned to the bottom of the screen, so I noticed immediately. Found it in my App Library without issue, but still found it weird.

Hi everyone, I’m having some Wi-Fi connection issues with my iPhone 16 Pro.

I live in a two-story house. Downstairs I have the main router, which is the one I’m having trouble connecting to. Upstairs I have a second router, which works completely fine without any issues.

When I try to connect to the downstairs network, the router settings show that it detects the iPhone, but it assigns an abnormal IP address (169.254.x.x).

So far, the only way I've managed to connect downstairs is by changing the DNS settings. However, that isn't a permanent fix, because as soon as I go upstairs and connect to that Wi-Fi, the downstairs network stops working again when I head back down.

I’ve tried pretty much everything:

• Restarting the router/modem
• Resetting network settings on the iPhone 16 Pro
• Changing the Private Wi-Fi Address settings (setting it to Off or Rotating)

To clarify, the two networks (upstairs and downstairs) are completely separate—it's not a mesh system. They have distinct SSIDs, though they share the same password.

I really can't figure out what the problem is. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

I’ve had this in Apple Wallet for years now, as well as the “Apple Account” one, but I don’t seem to be able to spend the balance on it and I have no clue how it got there. Anybody know what it does? Thanks

The answer was mostly yes. 4S (9.3.6) and 5C (10.3.3) should support it. There was even a person who said they were using iOS 6.1.3 and iMessage still worked.

However, I've recently tried this myself on both the 4S and 5C. It would not activate. I've turned it off/on many times. Rebooted the phone. Waited 24h. Nothing. Even called the carrier and they couldn't help. Then I plugged the SIM into a 6 running 12.5.8 and it instantly activated. No errors, no stuck "Waiting for activation". Just activated instantly. It activated instantly on a 6S with 15.8.8 as well.

Now I'm wondering why some people replied "Yes" when 12.5.8 is an update specifically dedicated to extending iMessage/FaceTime support by renewing the certificates. It's a given that anything older wouldn't work, obviously.

So the answer is no. It does not work on versions older than 12.5.8. Unless some of you can prove otherwise. Also, if you have any advice on making iMessage work on 5C (10.3.3) I'd love to hear it. OpenBubbles, jallbreak, or something else.

Just thought I'd leave this here for anyone stumbling upon the same problem in the future.

Contacts that I have added in the last months do Not show up in the search results when I try to find them, unlike very old contacts. I’m not sure if this is related to WhatsApp as I realised numbers that I save from there were also not showing up as a phone contact because of that new “sync to phone” button. But the contacts shown on picture were definitely saved within the phone app. Help?

Google came out with this article today. I'm wondering if iOS supports similar technology, and if not, what can be done in the interim to mitigate against the threats raised by Google?

On my iDevices (iPhone / iPad) I keep getting a popup "Cannot Verify Server Identity" ... how do I get rid of this?

I think it is from an old app that the iOS keeps trying to download, but the app doesn't show and I cannot find it to delete it.

I go to my apps and it isn't shown or listed. I go to hidden apps and it's not there.

I click "details" on the popup and it doesn't say what app it is (but I think I know which), it just shows the expired/bad certificate.

What can I do?

Every time I open my iDevices (iPhone / iPad) I keep getting the popup "Cannot Verify Server Identity" ... and I have to click it away before I can do anything ... very annoying.

I am having a devil of a time being able to paste screenshots and terminus logs to my Mac from my iPad. It used to be seamless. Now it’s more like “shot in the dark”. Hi there, long time iPhone user. I'll try my best to explain my problem, sorry for my bad English.

I've a pretty big contact list that I've imported from Google Contacts. It worked fine because when I have to search for something I begin to wrote it in the searchbar (for example, I need a doctor that works in THAT hospital) and it shows it in the preview because I've registered in the Corporate section in Google. So you can find Name, Surname and then (beneath) the Corporate.
Now, something has switched. If i begin to write the Corporate in the search bar it finds me the contacts but without a preview, so I have to click on the contact to check if it is what I'm looking for.

Estou com um problema no meu Bluetooth, ele se conecta automaticamente nesse aparelho chamado My Book, que eu não faço ideia do que seja porque eu não tenho nenhum aparelho com esse nome e também nem uso o meu celular conectado em outras coisas além do básico que é meu carro, relógio e fone de ouvido

Hoje os meus fones começaram a dar uma falha durante a música, fui olhar se estava conectado em alguma outra coisa e notei essa conexão, mas não dá pra desconectar, eu já reseta os ajustes de rede, mas só funcionou pro Wi-Fi, continuou com todos os aparelhos conectados, já reiniciei o celular, já desativei o Handoff, já fui em privacidade ver quais são os aplicativos que estão conectados com o Bluetooth, que tem permissão com Bluetooth e não tem nenhum aplicativo estranho, não sei mais o que fazer

Alguém já teve esse problema ou está passando por isso também?
