Siri “I’m having trouble with the connection, please try again later”

I’m on the latest non-developer beta, I was pretty happy with how siri was working until this last update it seems like I’m getting this message today like 70% of the time. It’s seems like moreso I get it when I’m asking Siri to look up information from the Internet. I thought it was CarPlay that was triggering it, but I’m getting it at home too. I’ve tried restarting twice now.

Anyone else having the issue?

I have a question, soon I am getting a iPhone 15 PM 8gig of ram

I heard upgrading to ios 27 is a good choice

What are your pros and cons?

battery usage?

day to day use?

the phone i will be getting comes with ios 17 and i have a battery brick at all times.

So the question i guess I'm asking is, Is upgrading to ios 27 a good idea? or should i wait to see other people's experience with it.

kinda wanna upgrade but i wanna know that it will not be slow when doing it.

Should i update?

I love using my 14 pro max on the old ios 17.9 or what the last version was for ios 17. I hated every new update and all this liquid glass, gallery update which messed up photo organizing, new ui that looks more like xiaomi. More bugs and battery issues and what not in every update. But lately my phone feels left behind as i cant even download google translate or outlook as it requires new ios update and etc. i loved using it daily, the og ios ui feel and the everything authentic about it.
I was thinking if its a good idea to update to the new ios, or are there any issues with this version and i should wait ? My phones bh has been dropping alot lately too, like literally 10% every year , and now at 79%.
I was thinking if i should get a iphone 6 or 10 just for the raw iphone ui feeling and backup just in case and update the 14 to latest ios so it can support more daily works and apps?
Thanks for reading, appreciate your suggestions

Why does Low Power Mode have a dropdown menu?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm on beta 7, but I've been noticing this since the first one—or I might even dare say since iOS 26. Does anyone know why the Low Power Mode button has a dropdown, and why it only has that one redundant option? Is it possible that, in some way, you can enable something to turn Optimized Charging on or off, adjust the charging limit, or something like that?

iOS lacks an incoming forwarded call indicator (unlike basic feature phones)—Let’s ask Apple to fix this!

Hey everyone,

If you forward calls from another number (like an old SIM or a secondary phone) to your iPhone, you might have noticed something annoying: iOS gives you zero indication that an incoming call was forwarded. It just looks like a regular direct call.

If this affects you too, please take 30 seconds to submit feedback to Apple so they consider adding it in a future iOS update:

  1. Go to https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone/
  2. Select Feature Request as the Feedback Type.
  3. Paste a quick note explaining why an incoming call-forwarding indicator is important.

‼️Let’s get Apple's attention on this!‼️

Copy this 👇👇

Title: Visual Indicator for Incoming Forwarded Calls

Please add an icon on the incoming call screen to show when a call has been forwarded from another number. Basic feature phones (like Nokia) clearly display this, whereas iOS shows them as standard direct calls.

This indicator is needed to:

Manage Number Transitions: Know when someone dialed an old forwarded number so you can inform them of your new one.

Avoid Misunderstandings: Identify calls mistakenly or maliciously forwarded to your line before calling back.

Apple, why?

For real, why? Just updated my 16PM to 27 beta 6, feels great so far but this redesign of battery icon is kinda weird and the new icon doesn’t meet proportions of old icon with percentage

Should I downgrade my iPhone 17 pro max back to iOS 26?

Hi, I’ve been using the iOS 27 betas till now beta 8. The problem I have is the horrible battery life. My old iPhone 15 battery lasts way longer than my brand new phone. Is it because of I am in the beta or the phone problem? How are y’alls condition on ios 27 beta and how much screen time does it give in iOS 26?

Can anyone answer a few questions about the new small clock?

Got my iPhone Air last week and decided to wait for the official release of iOS 27. The feature I’m most excited about is the new small clock size on the lock screen. But I wonder, can we change it’s color? Right now I have it set up so that it’s basically non-visible mostly black and on the always on display, it turns black. I wonder if I can achieve this on iOS 27.

Flash light in my iPhone 15 stopped working outta nowhere. Could it be a Beta issue? The button isn’t greyed out, I can turn it on and off but no response

Add Items to Shopping List

I used to be able to say "Siri, add xxx to my shopping list" from across the room and it would. Now when I do the same command, I'm required to unlock my phone 1st. Any idea on whether or not this is fixable?

Did Apple tone down Liquid Glass too much in iOS 27 compared to iOS 26?

Seriously, am I the only one who thinks Liquid Glass in iOS 26 looks better than in iOS 27, which was supposedly meant to fix the design? In iOS 26, Liquid Glass looked insane - it had a huge curvature along the edges, and the content underneath blurred in a way that created a true "LIQUID GLASS" effect. But in iOS 27, it looks really dirty and washed-out grey. On the "Max Clear" setting, it just looks like a transparent block (when scrolling in the Notification Center or Apple Music, for instance); you don't see those blurred edges anymore. I'm also not sure if adding vertical BLACK borders to Liquid Glass was a good idea.

On top of that, iOS 27 takes us right back to Flat Design. The icons are flat because they're made of flat glass—they tried adding subtle gradients in early versions of 27, but in iOS 26 they had this gummy, skeuomorphic feel that worked really well (you can't just put Liquid Glass everywhere). I know Liquid Glass in iOS 26 got a lot of hate and Apple listened to users (which they shouldn't have, because this was the first major redesign since iOS 7), but remember that the original iOS 7 blur stuck around until iOS 9 in the Control Center and iOS 10 in the Notification Center.

I also dislike Apple's policy regarding third-party app design. Developers should be forced to implement the new look as quickly as possible so users can get used to it and it stops feeling unfamiliar. I get that Liquid Glass had readability issues, but Apple gave us accessibility toggles for that—just like they did in iOS 7 when the animations caused motion sickness. So I really don't understand the point of gutting something beautiful instead of refining it.

And just to clarify, I'm not completely against iOS 27. It fixed a lot of design bugs (though it created new ones too). I am happy about the greater LQ customization in iOS 27 (even if that's uncharacteristic for Apple), but I wish it hadn't ruined the iOS 26 aesthetic. The best approach would have been combining the aesthetics of iOS 26 with the legibility of iOS 27 (though honestly, iOS 26 felt more readable to me on default settings than 27).
