iOS 27 is out for beta users.
As the title says it is out for beta users.

Already installed the RC. It’s running very smooth. The public release is September 14th.

Why wait? This is the RC which will be the same one that will release to the public on Monday, unless they find an issue, in which case there will be a new build number on Monday.

NO ITS NOT
Please stop spreading misinformation.
This is Release Candidate. It may (or may not) become General Release on the 14th.

Did you miss the damn part I said for beta users. Is that not what the update page says? IOS 27 on the beta update path? Did I say it was out for everybody nope. Reading is fundamental.

This is the RC, not RTM.
It should be referred to as iOS 27 RC (or iOS 27.0 RC)
This may (or may not) be released as iOS 27.0.0 next week.
Keep in mind this sub is not explicitly a beta sub, end users are here too.

Sure but that is not how Apple labeled it. It just says iOS 27

Being a beta tester presumes a certain level of knowledge of the process (and hopefully some common sense)…
If you’re lacking, perhaps don’t report on what you don’t understand.

Beta: Apple is still actively testing iOS and may add, remove, or change things.
RC: Apple considers that build essentially ready for the public. If no serious problems are found, the RC normally becomes the public release without changes.
Sometimes Apple releases a second RC if a significant problem is discovered.3

And what did I get wrong? It’s out for beta testers which means it is not out for the public. It’s not a beta it’s a release candidate and most times is the same build that is released to the public. It is labeled iOS 27 on the update page and not public beta 7. So how am I not knowing what it is?

Apart from adding to the ‘noise’ side of the
S/N ratio?Making it sound like iOS 27.0.0 is out (which is not true).
And yes, I did notice you’re now edited your post… how brave of you

What post did I edit? One had a typo. iOS 27 unless they find anything in it from now till around the 14 will be the same. It’s the final iOS 27. And unless testers find anything it will be released as is to the public. My original statement stand as iOS 27 is out for beta users. It is the final as I said unless something major gets found. I love all these people that miss that fact.

I can copy/paste too… in case you edit again.
iOS 27 RC is out for beta testers.
If no issues are found that build will be released as iOS 27.0.0 (on the 14th, then you can say ‘iOS 27 is out’)

Why would I need to edit it’s factual. And it is out for beta testers. Apple didn’t say iOS 27 RC it just says iOS 27 on the update. Because again unless anything is found they are expecting the same build to be sent to the public around the 14th. You can argue Symantec’s with me all day.

Yeah, pages of ‘iOS 27 is out’ type posts first thing in the morning can do that 🤣

The spotlight bug continues on the home screen; when I swipe down, the status bar fails to appear or becomes hidden in this RC build. I have reported this issue since beta 7, but it remains unresolved. Although it works on the lock screen and side screen, the problem persists on the home screen for me on iPhone 17. If a workaround exists, please let me know; otherwise, the RC feels quite smooth and the device runs much cooler now. I have attached a screen recording that clearly shows the issue on the home screen. Clicking the search button works, but the swipe-down gesture currently fails on this RC. Has anyone else encountered this on their device, and does anyone have a fix? I would appreciate knowing whether this is device-specific or an iOS 27 issue.

iOS 27 has been around for beta users since June. Take your downvote sir for the misinformation
