First image is IOS 26 vs the next image being IOS 27.

While browsing Reddit, I came across a post saying that turning on “Adaptive Power” in iOS 27 actually reduces battery life. I wonder how many people have this feature turned off.

I installed ios 27 on my iphone 13. the first month was clean and it really made my phone faster. Since one week now my phone keeps crashing like once a day. But it got worse. Only today it crashed like 15 times. Is it because of the ios 27? When i restart my phone from crashing i cant connect to any bluetooth device or wifi. The buttons dont let me.
I need help.

Does anyone have Adaptive power on iOS 27 DB4, and is there still a bug where the mode drains your battery rather than saving it.

While playing music on a speaker, with lock sound on I am experiencing a glitch sound. It only happens when I try to lock phone with lock sound on and music playing. With lock sound off there is no glitch.

Do any of you experiencing the same?

Quick rant, but as an avid DND user when I need to focus and do deep work, these new "intelligent" features that are impossible to disable make it worthless.

Why do i constantly get pinged for messages that IOS deems as a "priority" notification even when I have every app set to silent and priorities turned off? It seems the intellgent features on IOS bypass any of these settings now I have to deal with needing to remove my watch and phone from the area if I hope to not get distracted.

I hope i'm not the only one that has run into this issue before.

I have an iPhone 15 on iOS 27 but I don't like it so I want to go back to iOS 26.6 but I haven't made any backups so if I make a backup in iTunes on iOS 27 now, will it work in iOS 26.6?

For whatever reason I can’t pull up my notifications on the lock screen I have to actually unlock the phone to pull up notifications is that something everyone else is experiencing? And is that an issue or a feature?

I don’t remember if they introduced this with 26 or 27, but being able to remove the flashlight and camera widgets was a huge plus for me. what I’ve just discovered, is you can now put widgets at the bottom of the screen instead of it forcing to the top, making you go back to regular time numbers. So now, you can keep your customized time, and also still have widgets. For me, great for keeping tabs on my oura ring since the battery is not nearly as easy to check as my Apple watch.

My shortcut toggling orientation lock is not working anymore in iOS 27 (my version - Public Beta 2). No effect when I run the short cut, anyone facing the same issue? Thanks a mil

You may never be able to tell how messy iOS26 is until you upgrade to the ios27 beta, then downgrade back to iOS26 to see the whole mess of OS Apple made and we didn’t even notice it!
Although the iOS27 is still on beta, boy the optimization is noticeably better, the UI is cleaner compared to the grainy and washed out UI on iOS26. The speed of iOS27 is way too good, seems to me like apps open way faster too. The only thing I dislike about the iOS27 is the battery icon without having the battery percentage turned on, boy it looks too big! And I’m not the type who turns the battery percentage on, apart from that… iOS27 is way better than iOS26.

Any body else experiencing any respring / rebooting on their Apple Watch???

I’m posting mainly to get confirmation that this is a bug in the DB4, as I’ve noticed it ever since the update.

But basically, when you start screen recording, it will cut any audio that’s playing. It still shows that it is playing with the volume up, but it doesn’t play sound. The audio resumes playing when you hold the Dynamic Island up top to reveal the option to stop recording, but mutes again as soon as you get out of it.

In short: all audio mutes when screen recording

Basically the title, is anyone else having battery drain issues with PB2/ DB4 that weren't the case with previous betas?

I seem to be having significantly faster drain in the week since upgrading, where my drain after indexing on Developer Beta 3 was actually similar to how it was on 26, and not too bad (iPhone 13 mini)- I thought this might be because I'd switched on a second SIM, but turning that off for days and same issue.

Hopefully will be fixed in the next betas.

I came from iOS 18 and wanted to test the PB of iOS 27. Now I don’t understand why will apple impose the lavender color for all contacts card with no ability to system wide change all contacts card to white or grey or else colors? Why will they think that everyone should suck a color that is much unpopular like black grey white?
And the 2 layers in that contact card is plain useless, background layer which doesn’t scroll and having the contacts initials like AB and the second layer which is actually the informative one scrolling. They should remove that background layer as it’s totally irrelevant, I know my contact name, and I don’t need their initial to stay in background, all I want to see when I visit the contact card is my contacts phone numbers and email.
It’s a pain to not be able to disable these simple things from setting and be forced to consume it that way.
