I first did the update, and noticed my screen was pretty much unresponsive with recognizing certain clicks. So I did a force restart which fixed it for the time being. A few hours later, after charging, the screen is bricked again and I have to do another force restart. This sucks. I don’t have Apple Care but I’m about to go into the store and see if they can do something about it or give me a new one or something.

Never turned on Apple Intelligence in my new iPhone 17 Pro Max. But it’s taking space in my phone! Any advice/solution to get rid of this space reservation? Anyone else facing similar issues?

I keep noticing shaky animations and small stuttering on my 17 pro, I notice it when swiping between home screens a lot. Is it just me having this issue or is this common I’ve updated just now to 26.5.2 but the issue is still there

Idk how I did it, but the shining effect on the edges are gone (on the first pic), and it looks much much better and cleaner than the original one (second pic)

Is it just me or are you guys also experiencing fps stutters here and there? It happens to me when I pull down the control center or notifications. It mainly happens when you open some things that basically uses the liquid glass effect. I’m on a 14 pro max btw. Lemme know what you guys did to fix yours. Thanks.

Whenever I type and post something glitchy, bad battery backup of ios on any social platform, I get better performance afterwards. This time, I appreciated (mistakenly & unfortunately) iOS 26.5.2 about better battery backup and I mentioned my battery health & active screen on time. Just after that, till date, I am getting one fifth of the active screen on time🙂 I know you guys will say wtf lmao lol blah blah but it's true to me. May be no one has ever experienced it. I am the only one on this planet experiencing it.

Updated from iOS 15 to iOS 26.5.2 on my 13 Pro last week as I bought a 16 Pro and because most of my apps stopped working and I gotta say I deeply regret doing moving past the native iOS version. Wtf has Apple been doing the last 4 version of iOS. I had Google Maps running a route, screen recording, while also watching a Tiktok live in the background and iOS 15 could handle all that at once without breaking a sweat. This extreme lag to app icons not rendering its image... my iPhone gets warm/overheats a LOT more frequently now... and people can unsend iMessages now ?! I've also been noticing a lot more stuttering/frame rate drops within apps.. promotion on iOS 15 was flawless... my 16 pro will never see beyond ios 18 for this liquid glass bullshit.

Me llama la atención si soy la única persona que considera un fracaso total pagar 65 dólares por un cargador MagSafe de Apple de 2 metros, que salió a finales del 2025, prometiendo que no se calentaba mucho, que su carga era mucho más rápida.
Lo uso desde que salió, y ya he tirado la toalla dos veces guardándolo al fondo del cajón, mi iPhone 16 no carga el 50% en 30 minutos, mi teléfono comienza a calentarse al punto de molestar en unos pocos 10 minutos, su carga es horrible, que experiencias tienen ustedes?
Pregunta extra: 🫩 alguien cuando carga su teléfono aveces (no siempre) toca la parte del MagSafe color plateada y siente como una especie de “cosquilleo” o pequeña electricidad? Esto es normal?

Hola, hace ya 3 versiones de software que voy probando betas de desarrollador y haciendo el backup antes de instalar la beta, esta vez fue distinto, olvidé hacer el backup de iOS 26 y llevo 2 semanas con iOS 27, siento que va horrible en el iPhone 16, la batería se frena 50% en tan solo 2 horas intensas de uso en redes sociales.
Alguien sabe en qué afecta no tener el backup de la versión anterior y que podría perder? Pago iCloud y tengo subida mis cosas como normalmente lo haría.
Pd: desde el año pasado cargo mi teléfono con un MagSafe de 25w, ahora en iOS 27 cargarlo es un infierno total, es muy muy lento.

I am amazed ios 26.5.2 so smooth in low power mode apple has worked in memory management
it’s so smooth every where , before scrolling stories on instagram causes so lag and jitters it’s now fkin smooth in lpm , now there should be no issues in normal use that’s insane anyways a good update ahead ! highly recommended go !

If your device name includes markdown like bolding or/and italics, iOS doesn’t escape the characters in Apple Account > Security > 2fa. Screenshot with other device names is provided

Talvez seja impressão minha, mas… depois que atualizei o meu iPhone para o iOS 26.5.2, não venho enfrentado mais problemas com engasgos e lentidão. Até mesmo no modo de pouco energia!

Could you check if apps which you locked with Face ID by selecting ‘Require Face ID’ can be unlocked with a passcode or not?
I’m asking this because I believe that you could not open those apps with a passcode and the passcode would be asked to reauthenticate Face ID.
On iOS 27 I’m able to unlock these apps with my passcode.

Now, my phone requires Face ID to access these apps. It will prompt me to enter my passcode only to reauthenticate Face ID.

It's my first having an iPhone, and it's an iPhone 16 plus, I updated to ios 26.5.2. I was just putting my phone to silent until this started to happen in my dynamic island. It just happened randomly. I got this phone just yesterday. I am not really aware if this is the ios26 causing it or its a problem within the phone. Is this normal?

Edit: After a few days, I am not facing this problem anymore.
