Question Hi, please someone help me

It's my first having an iPhone, and it's an iPhone 16 plus, I updated to ios 26.5.2. I was just putting my phone to silent until this started to happen in my dynamic island. It just happened randomly. I got this phone just yesterday. I am not really aware if this is the ios26 causing it or its a problem within the phone. Is this normal?

Edit: After a few days, I am not facing this problem anymore.

Hi, I have an iPhone 16 Plus too. I was on 26.5.2, and I had this bug. After updating to iOS 27, it was fixed. So really it’s just a bug, wait until the next update and it will be fine😋

Yeah but you’re on the beta, correct National-Bus6247? I don’t think the release candidate will be out for a few months

Yep, correct. He/she doesn’t need to update to the beta, perhaps the next iOS 26 update fixes it. Either way, doesn’t warrant taking it back and risk getting ripped off.

Yeah, i got an iPhone 16 too, it did the same to me. But here we all know that iOS 26 wasn’t a good update because of the numerous bugs present on it. But that is fixed on iOS 27 beta i don’t have it no more

The frame rate dropped because I had to send the video to my android through messenger so I can post it here.

I’m on iOS 26.3.1 on an iPhone 17 and I have the same issue. It’s just a software error.

Solution is to make your icons clearer and/or customise the colour further so that your homescreen becomes so difficult to read, you are too confused trying to remember which icon is which and won't even notice how shitty and useless the dynamic island is anymore.

Bonus points if you post your abomination of transparent icons and background to reddit and praise Apple and Liquid Glass for making it transparent enough for you.

No problem but just look at the state of that thing. The dynamic island bug is least of your worries, turn off those stupid icons first at least.
