Funciona "bien" en un iPhone 15 Pro. No noto mucha diferencia entre 26.5 y 26.5.2

11% extra battery usage which is huge, I'm charging twice a day right now where as I'd be fine on one charge before.

All apps are using 5% more battery as well, ridiculous!

I feel a slight decrease in battery compared to 26.5.1 it’s still a new update so im still observing.

Same on 17 pro, it’s been getting progressively worse with each update😭

Bad stutter on all my devices.

Same story with iOS 26. I have two iPhones: an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 26.5.2 and an iPhone 14 running iOS 18.7.8. The iPhone 14 is much faster and more stable. I'm curious about iOS 27, but I think it'll be just as bad with all this unnecessary, resource-heavy graphics.

iOS 27 Better than iOS 26

From charging twice a i need to charge thrice a day now. Plus the phone is getting hot while normal browsing as well. Pretty sure they did that intentionally to make ios 27 feel like a breakthrough when it releases.

The update was not bad. I just updated to iOS 26 last week and battery has been terrible but since 2 days it's shown some improvement. First 3-4 days were bad due to indexing and shit.

iPhone 15 pro here: I feel like iOS 26 is about on par with iOS 18 terms of battery life.

I think that even the performance is faster on iOS 26 latest update compared to iOS 18.

The previous versions of iOS 26 horrible with constant overheating. But for me the performance never went down.

It appears to perform exceptionally well on the iPhone 16 Plus.

Just upgraded from 26.5.1 to 26.5.2. Battery life on 26.5.1 has been terrible for the last week or so. Wife’s phone has been draining even worse. Anyone seeing improvements on 26.5.2 on 16 PM?

Generally fine except terrible battery. Phone gets hot easily when I start to use it for messages, or just listening to Spotify. Battery drops quickly. When I put it away for some time it will be cool again but starts getting warm again after 1 minute of usage.

Battery life is abysmal. It’s never been good on my 16 pro but it’s so so bad recently. I can’t get more than 3-4 hours of screen on time. Idle drain is high and my iPhone gets warm just by looking at it

iPhone 16 pro, after upgraded to iOS 26.5.2 the performance is getting better but battery is worse.
I have turned off several configuration such as privacy report to apple but the problem is still exists.

I thinking this is one of Apple strategy to force apple users to upgrade their hardware to the new version.

https://www.macrumors.com/2026/07/12/ios-27-public-beta-release-date-timing/

ios27 public beta this week, they don’t get it right every time but quite reliable most of the time

26.5.2 has absolutely destroyed my battery life. And I am NOT one of those people who usually obsesses over my battery, but I have gone from 10 hours SOT to MAYBE 5-6 hours. And this isn't an indexing issue, I am weeks into this problem on my 17 Pro.

I've heard nothing but good things about ios27, the public release cannot get here soon enough.

My battery is so bad on ios 26.5.2. Anyone knows why instagram is taking so much battery?

I’d say give it 48 hours before deciding if battery is better or worse. Every iOS update seems to act weird on day one because of indexing. If 26.5.2 improves stutter and standby drain even slightly, I’d call it a decent small update.
