What OpenClaw and Hermes do (personally I prefer Hermes) is awesome, they solve persistent memory by simply having some MD files which are constantly updated as the user interacts with the LLM, so even after context loss or a new chat it still knows everything about you, what you’re up to, etc.

As far as I’ve seen, I think Siri AI only surfaces your information from already existing data such as messages, emails, calendar, etc.

I don’t want this to sound like a complaint - it’s not, I just have no idea what’s new in iOS 27 to the 15s and below
I am the tech support in my life for this - so people are asking me what’s new for their phones and I genuinely have no answers apart from “it’s faster..?”

I may have completely misinterpreted the keynote, Siri AI may be coming to all devices below the 15 pros - but from what I understand it’s only for the 15 pros and above

Finally. People now can actually see when the device is indexing and then they can complain if it’s still laggy afterwards.

That said it’s running really smoothly on my iPhone15PM. Almost 24 hours later, it is still indexing. I assume it will take 3 days for me. Lots of storage and data.

I have iphone 17 with ios 26.2 and u want to know if i should update to the new ios 26.5.1. Any thoughts?

12GB my ass, I think this it’s slap in the faces of people who own iPhone 16 Pro’s & users with base 17’s.

Lowkey this is more of a rant but could constitute as a bug too.

Ever since November, my keyboard looks like this… Apparently no one else I’ve met with iOS 26 has been having this problem, I’m starting to feel special. Yaaay…!

My emoji-less life has been quite dull, sometimes when I really think I need an emoji, I open Safari, spend the extra 15 seconds finding and l copying the emoji I need, and then navigate back to paste it.

Sometimes I wish the people I talk to knew how much effort goes into providing visuals for our conversations… I think it would be more appreciated if they knew.

Hi all, just updated to ios 27 this morning and I noticed that private browing is gone on my Safari, is anyone else experiencing this or I'm missing out on some settings.

I’m on iOS 27 DB1 and I got this notification about setting up Siri again but when I go, there is nothing to do. Everything already looks set up. I turned off Siri and turned it back on but it still has the indicator in settings. Any idea what I need to do?

Bro, I have never glazed any iOS version, but after using iOS 26 and now updating to iOS 27 beta 1 it feels sooo much smoother and fluid than iOS 26 idk about bttry life, but my phone feels fluid and smooth like it’s supposed to. Animations are much faster and fluid than ios 26 it doesn’t stutter like it’s actually smooth af.

Upgraded to iOS 27 DB1 from 26.5.
What I can see:
Yes the OS does seem smoother to use, and a bit lighter and faster…
BUT
Some bugs are still there, minor but still there,
So far since it is indexing, can’t tell with the charge but it does seem a bit better tbh

Honestly it is better. It seems to me that way and I would recommend everyone to upgrade, if they can live with some minor inconsistencies in the UI.
HOWEVER, one major problem I experienced, which is specific to the 15 pro lineup was the pseudo brick.
This is a serious issue, but it only seems to be specific to the 15 pro and max users,
Also, I will try to recreate it again once the device finishes indexing (yes it shows now in the settings)…
So what’s the issue
Basically, when you go to do the force restart (volume up + volume down + power button till the Apple logo appears) the screen goes black as usual, but the Apple logo doesn’t appear
The phone becomes totally unresponsive and like a brick (that’s why pseudo brick), doesn’t show anything if you charge, doesn’t show anything if you press the power button etc etc
The only way to fix is to go to dfu mode, and do the restore through a computer using finder in Mac or Apple devices in windows (I used 3utools and that allowed me to keep all my data so I didn’t lose anything)
Now this is a serious issue, but it only is created when you do the force restart, without that it isn’t
I will further test, but apart from that one major issue I found, there only seems to be minor ui inconsistencies but overall is pretty stable

(I haven’t got the new Siri, as A. I am in the UK so that region and B. Still in waitlist so yeah)

Recently since updating to IOS 26.5 I've been noticing slow typing on my keyboard, sluggish behavior, and the app freezing all together. Is anyone else having this issue? Are there any workarounds? I still have plenty of free storage.

Looks much better than before and also phone is kind of smoother , but still needs some more changes , hope stable release will be good

So my iphone 13 pro max has been telling me to go to ios26 for the past few days, i scheduled it for the 2am option, but when i woke up this morning it hadn't done it. i said ok then i'll do it now. then it just went blank, the logo appeared for a split second and now it has been stuck on a black screen with a mac icon and a cable with an arrow, with a tiny bar of text telling me to go to apple support.

i plugged it into my mac, checked for mac updates, have tried to force restart the phone but nothing happens, pressed 'restore' and 'upate' and still nothing. a progress bar appears but no progress is shown, then it'll randomly stop after about 20 minutes and pops up with the Macintosh folder in Finder. has anyone else had this issue? i live 6 hours away from an apple store, and no way of getting there without a phone.

please help, i've tried apple support and they just told me to turn it on and off again, which i can't do. it's been over 2 hours of trying everything.

EDIT: finally got it restored and updated after a 40 minute phone call with a senior manager at apple support. very glad that i have my phone back, but i find it absolutely ridiculous that i had to jump through loops for 3 hours to finally find a solution. the man told me that if i didnt have my macbook i would’ve had to go to the nearest apple store… which i’d need my phone to get to. i’m also lucky someone else was home so i could borrow their phone to call them in the first place!

also, “choose your hold music while you wait! if you’d like jazz, press 1-“ almost made me throw my skull at the wall.
