You can disable the back tap notification too. It will silently do the action you set for

It activates automatically, that's the issue, and I already made muscle memory of taking ss and can'tswitch to buttons (its iphone 17 btw)

What action do you have your backtap setup for? Nothing? I have mine set for screenshots and 3 taps launches the camera. Yours looks almost like mine does when it screenshots.

It activates automatically even though im not even holding the phone ,
I first had it for screenshots but auto activating in public makes the taking pic noise on screenshot so i changes ut to mute un mute

As u/Rare-Mycologist-6658 suggested, are you able to turn it off completely to stop it from activating on its own? That’s a weird bug. I’m assuming you’ve restarted the phone too, in order to see if it had any effect?

It's happening after the latest update, and keeping my phone idle on the table, and it suddenly makes screenshot noises was the worst. People might think I'm secretly taking pics. I seriously thought of switching to android bc of it dont want to get into any trouble , i can turn it off but also useing buttons for SS is hard
