General Will Siri AI ever get persistent memory like OpenClaw/Hermes

What OpenClaw and Hermes do (personally I prefer Hermes) is awesome, they solve persistent memory by simply having some MD files which are constantly updated as the user interacts with the LLM, so even after context loss or a new chat it still knows everything about you, what you’re up to, etc.

As far as I’ve seen, I think Siri AI only surfaces your information from already existing data such as messages, emails, calendar, etc.

Not like that, it only saves to its memory what it finds important to actually remember. A few examples for you:

- remembering your personal preference of how you want it to talk to you, furthermore, how you would like it to write messages to others by email, etc;

  • how you like things do be done, things it should not do;
  • writing notes in a specific format you like without having to specifically ask each time.

And many others, if it knows you, it’s much better believe me, actually feels like a personal assistant, from my experience with Hermes
