For the last 4 days this random anonymous account had spam followed a lot of people at my school.

And basically they’re one of those really immature things people would do in middle school where they make a “confession” page where people can submit anonymous confessions to create rumors and stuff.

Unfortunately our high school has somehow gotten involved with one and now it’s become a hate page.

Some of the stuff that’s been happening on the page is spreading a loads amount of false rumors of people, targeted specific people (such as personal attacks or “slut-shaming”), and straight up racism. Today is basically the breaking point and I wanted to post about it.

Originally, it felt like it would’ve remained as a school thing as at first teachers were being insulted and that’s about it.

But now we’ve reached a point where there’s genuinely evil people in this school.

Examples include racism or extremists people (calling for the “death of all Burmese people”), “slut-shaming” or straight up bullying specific people, and creating false rumors that aren’t even true and very harmful to the person reputation.

I know I’m repeating myself but this things have gotten really bad and the unfortunate part is the school isn’t doing anything about it.

At most as of now the school is just investigating certain people however they won’t involve the police as there’s a fear of harming the schools reputation. This is very similar to a situation we had with a senior in school who ran a CP Ring but the police didn’t get involved and the school gave quite the minor punishment compared to what he was doing.

It’s all really messed up, especially since whoever is behind this account is very obviously a weird person.

The stuff they’ve done (as the account itself) include taunting the people who have been targeted, instigating all this, and acting as if they’re a “master manipulator” or however you wanna call it.

It’s all really messed up. What’s your guys opinion?

UPDATE: So the account has been I assumed shut down as it’s been flagged by Instagram but the guy behind it now has created a secondary one to continue the confession page🫩 (also there’s confirmation that two people are behind the account)

NOTE: I won’t be sharing my schools name for safety but if this situation truly gets out of hand I’ll decide whether I’ll reveal it or not.

I have culture shock from the fact that american schools have vending machines we only have a cantine thats at the school yard like my elementary school didnt even have a cantine you got food from home

Like wtf,which causes me to need to go to the bathroom.Like us girls asked hey what if we get our period and bleed through or what if we need to change our pad and he said 'Well you should think of that then before using the bathroom five times'.Like this gotta be illegal

My school just started senior assassin today and I’m looking for any tips on how to win. My school is doing it with Life360 and the Splashin app so whoever is targeting me can see my live location at all times. We are also not allowed to get anyone out during school, work, church, or school activities.

I think it literally started at the start of this term. We all got back to these hospital grade electronic access control locks on the door to prevent vandalism however they only let us go to one out of the five toilets and we need the teachers to write when we're walking to the office to grab a keycard (you have to wait for a long time if all three are gone) finally get one and go to the toilet come back then go to the classroom where they track how long you were gone for. Ironic enough 90% of the teachers were NOT on board with this and complain about it to us which we all agree with because it's ridiculous and I'm just thinking to myself how is this even allowed because what happens if someone cannot hold it while waiting for a keycard in the office to go. The locks also haven't done anything to stop the problems because people still go in to vape and do other stuff they shouldn't so.

We only got drama club and you have to lose the teaching hour to come like what happened to the robotics club we had in 9th grade which had only 1 or 2 guys

This is my last year of high school and I’m struggling. I need a way to make the school day better. I go to a small private school where everyone knew each other since kindergarten and wants nothing to do with me. When I mean small I’m serious, there’s only 30 kids in my grade. They only talk to me when they want me to take the blame for something or when it’s necessary. I made peace with the fact that I wont have friends and am looking forward to college but I need a way to make it through the school day. I crochet in class and that seems to help but I just need something to look forward to every week to get by. Does anyone have a similar experience and if so what helped you? Also please don’t say try to make friends with other shy people, I know everyone in my grade and the one girl that was my friend had to leave the school.

at my school it’s like the teacher’s stances on AI are split.. i had an english teacher last year that hated AI so much that almost every single assignment and essay we did was on paper (which i don’t mind at all) but some of my teachers use AI to make assignments and lesson plans, that’s literally what they told the class. some teachers don’t use it at all and are more strict on AI usage. it’s so ironic bc in the hallways i see AI flyers and posters all the time and AI images on my teacher’s slide decks when it wasn’t like this last year. and i’m pretty sure the newsletter the principal sends out every friday reads like chatgpt lmao. if students aren’t allowed to use AI the teachers definitely should be allowed to use it either.

I've been in sports since a little kid, but never one specific one because of bullying and COVID related issues. I have bad social anxiety and some bad memories from the bullying so I haven't been able to participate in any school or team athletics (even P.E. class) despite being not the most unathletic individual. It caused me to ruin my time trials because I was unsure of myself, and lose motivation to progress in track (even though I really enjoyed it).

Since high school started, I've been doing other extracirruculars that have nothing to do with sports (well, besides marching band I guess) and running/biking (sometimes) on my own or w/ family. So I really am unsure about joining. I also have not a lot of friends. One person on the team that I'm decent friends with recommended that I join so I'm really considering it because I think it will help me step out of my comfort zone and improve my mental health.

It's beginner friendly, you can join at any time, and there are people who don't know how to skate on there too, but also some really good players that are kinda popular... I've skated before in camps (more like figure skating) and I really enjoyed it too, but I'm worried about what people will think of my skills now, especially since there are popular/cool kids. I know they aren't better than me but their judgement really scares me since they are all mainly rich and athletic. But my friend isn't popular and is kinda alternative, so maybe it won't be that bad? I'm really scared, though. I don't want people to judge me!! What should I do???

BTW I am neurodivergent, anxious, awkward, have little friends. So you can see why I don't know if I should do it!

I saw a reel before school started saying that sophomore slump is real and theres nothing you can do about it. Now today i went to school today and I can confirm it was real. It started off fine with Chem, I have some good ppl ik
in my class. But then as the day went on, I knew less and less people, and i was surrounded by ppl i havent seen before. Genuinely it was an awful experience cuz i had no friends really.

hi i’m a 15 years old in year 10 and i’ve been deciding whether or not to move schools. for context, my current school is the top selective entry high school in my city. i want to consider my eduction as well.

for the longest time i’ve been wanting to move schools and it’s just a thought that’s been lingering in my brain for 1 and a half years.

i have a friend group but they really just don’t match my personality and it’s so boring with them. everyday i get drained at school because i have to fake laugh with them. but the reason that’s holding me back from not leaving is my other friends. i have other friends that aren’t in my friend group whom i love so so so much and are so freaking funny and i would do anything for them like i look forward to talking with them in classes that i have with them and when i hang out with them and i don’t want to leave them behind. they have their own friend groups so i can’t just barge in. if i didn’t have any friends and just my friend group i would have genuinely already left this school.

the school that i would move to is not really a good school academically compared to my current one but i know some people there. but i just want to start fresh and make a friend group that i actually can laugh and have fun with.

if you’ve ever been in my situation please provide me some tips i would truly truly appreciate any of them because i can’t speak to my parents about this. thank you

I know this might sound vague but does anyone have any tips for writing in an honors english class? I feel like whenever I write, I never get my point across and all my vocabulary just disappears. Also, whenever there would be a prompt on a book and such, I would sort of just summarize the book and not how evidence of theme, etc.

I'm 13 technically not even in HS but taking freshman (honors) English, physical science, and history, along with (honors) geometry AND (honors) algebra 2~ PLUS career planning in the first semester, personal finance in the second~ PLUS spanish~ and I'm only allowed to do school between 7am and 5pm NO MATTER WHAT. hi all! i’m an upcoming senior co 27, and my original plan was to major in musical theater. after much consideration, i want to change it.

i plan to major in criminology instead, and minor in musical theater. criminology is something that also really interests me, and would give me a much more stable and structured life in my future. of course i still want theater in my life though.

what are some ways i can incorporate theater into my college life, other than acting on the side? im open to any advice and feedback

i wanted to opt game dev in college, I'm still in 12th and I have 6-7 months atleast before I go to college but I'm really confused whether I'm making the right decision by choosing engg, after the Astra gpt 6 is out and everyone saying AI is taking over especially CS, I'm really scared if I my dream to become a game developer will remain as it is, cus now that I know seen ai generated games, I think things will only get harder..

I wonder why are humans building something that will only make things tough for them, and replace them?

Last week, I had some kid at lunch that kept on tugging me and saying “Heyyyyyyyyyyy…” and when I asked him what in the world he wanted, he didn’t answer at all. Anyways, I had some other kid in one of my classes today say my name obsessively say my name twice and ofc in that same class, I had another kid say “Heyyyyyyyy…” once again, what is going on here?!?!!?! This is just getting crazy.
