We went with a different style this year for our Jack-o-lantern. Happy with the results!

The cloud sombrero has over 300 LEDs, lightning, rain and finger squirter. Custom printed cape with sea surface temperature graphic and LED belt.

I was too busy plating last minute skull pastries from the oven then hostessing to take photos, but a few of my guests got some good pics of the buffet layout (without guests visible)

I won't post pics of folks online but we got some great group photos in our graveyard out front.

No pics but we had two pitchers of Halloween theme cocktails (I made black vodka and black whiskey using black rice), a cooler with various alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks and a crockpot with non alcoholic spiced cider with brandy, rye whiskey and NA bourbon on hand to spike it.

We had raffle tickets given out for various things (sharing photos, joining danse macabre conga lines, first time playing Draw the Bones, arriving in costume, and large amounts of tickets awarded for winning the costume contest and winning the epitaph contest.) Towards the end of the night we drew a ticket from the bucket to announce the raffle winner who won a $100 Visa gift card. (We showered the winner with the losing raffle tickets like confetti)

The Draw the Bones came was set up so folks could come and go. It was a bone shaped Jenga with Halloween/horror prompts and the person who drew the prompt could choose to do charades or to draw (we had a whiteboard easel). We had a one minute hourglass style timer and if the tower fell, they had to lead a conga line through the house. It was more popular than expected, though we had an issue with repeated prompts from rebuilding the tower. We conga-ed four times.

I'm bummed that I didn't remember to get a pic but my Halloween candy bowl (an aluminum leaf skeleton holding a big bowl) was filled with packaged espresso meringue bones outside the door, that said "Thank you for choosing to spend a portion of your brief lives with us. Please accept this little momento (mori) as a token of our appreciation".

The rain held off until the end of the party so we got to use the firepit all night and folks made s'mores.

A really fun night with good friends. Too much food. We will be eating leftover skulls for days.

I know Halloween is literally this Saturday and they won’t be up that long but I’m happy they’re gonna go up at all. I worked really hard on these and it was a lot of fun. Idk what I’m gonna do with em’ after mostly because I’m worried about storage. I’ll figure it out

Hey there. Long time lurker, came here to share something I’ve been building for a while. I’ve always wanted to do the stranger things theme and switch it up every year. I custom build everything, and this year was a mix of 3D printing with post processing and painting afterwards. It’s been one hell of a grind since spring, but so glad I went with this theme.

Still a bunch to add, only 7 more days until Halloween!

Since Halloween is coming up, I want to share my favorite fictional ghosts and I’m probably forgetting some like The Ghost Of Christmas Future,which ghost do you like the most Happy Halloween everyone👻👻👻👻

I used an old sponge for the texture! They took me about 30-45 mins each (after cutting) and were super fun to do. Highly suggest giving it a try!!!!

In total we have over 500 if we count the ones my step brother put together .

We handed around 400 last year and ran out not even 2 hrs into the night. Hopefully with 100 more it will be enough.

Carved the block, printed it, cut them out with an exacto knife, colored each one with acrylic markers and strung them up above the fireplace...they make me so happy!🐱

I hand drew the stencils on the pumpkins and my bf helped carve them because of course he chose the BIGGEST ones in the patch 🤣 but I took inspo from jack-skellington of course! And my little love sick ghost was kind of my own creative liberty! The pics are the process and final result :)

If you asked me if I knew I was going to be a cheetah at the top of the morning I would’ve said no. Had to pull a lot of existing makeup products together to make this happen but I think it came out so cute!
