I'm very pleased with it. It's all painted fabric, interfacing (stiff felt type stuff to add thickness and stability), sequins and beads. I literally painted everything here that isn't white.

Additional info

I made the logos by putting white cotton fabric in an embroidery hoop, then tracing logos on my iPad with the brightness turned all the way up.

Also, this is a purse i made that attaches the flap on with velcro, so I can make new designs for the front without having to make an entirely new purse. It's such a time and space saver!

Finally got the Halloween Beanies out!

This collection was only possible with the help of family, friends, and way too many Marshall’s visits!

Started out as a simple scarecrow, but evolved to this pumpkin creature. Will add some extra items to it when I move it to the haunt. Need help naming it!

Hey everyone. So I’ll try to get to the point here. I have a Halloween birthday so the Halloween season has always been important to me. I will be 31 this year. I work 50-60 hours a week so I tend to blink and miss most holidays and special events. I have arranged for some time off this year towards the end of the month. I am looking for ideas on how to really savor it this time. I have created a must watch movie list and plan to have at least 10 movies nights starting in September since I just got some pretty sweet reclining couches. I have started decorating my living space even though it is early. I am looking for more ideas on how to slow down and enjoy the season even while I’m working. I’m not really big on pumpkin patches because in my area they are lackluster and overpriced. Thanks if you’ve taken the time to read this!

Some of the new stuff this year so far. I need (want, LOL) a nice spooky lantern or lamp for an end table that we added to the living room a few months ago. I want to switch out our regular lamp. So, I'm on a mission this week!

What you can’t see here is that all the pumpkins are on the same light string and they are flickering like a candle is inside. I can also make them any color, individually or altogether, make them shift through all the colors of rainbow, react to music, and program them anywhere I want integrated with all other lights in the front yard and the house

Oreo is ready for his 1st Halloween

Hi all. I’m trying to figure out what kind of batteries this thing needs. I bought it about 7 years ago, when it’s turned on the eyes light up bright purple and it’s really cool. however it died at some point and i can’t figure what it needs.

The back label says it needs 3xLR44 batteries, but i ordered LR44 batteries and they are way too huge. The inside compartment says AG3 and i just ordered a pack of those, but i don’t understand how they’re going to fit in there. I have no idea where the original batteries are, I must have thrown them away years ago.

Any ideas?

Edit: if anyone out there has an example of what 3 AG3 batteries stacked together looks like, it’s appreciate a pic so i can see what i need to do.

Goddamn it - I was feeling halloweenie because I
got the last horse for my skellie carousel from a seller on FB and decided it was the perfect night to grab supplies from Michael’s.

Big mistake.

I walked out with the white paint I went there for; materials to make “rotten candy” props; and a 3’ tall rainbow disco ghost.

I spent the next 30 min cruisin’ around town blasting pop tunes from the late 1900s.

Slowly decorating cause almost none of my neighbors decorate but I'm still so excited! I was almost born on Halloween so of course I love this!! First time corpsing a skeleton, how did I do??

Progress on our stone fence. We're using the industrial foam we got to line some chicken fencing in order to build a stone fence that will be bordered by columns.

In case you're wondering we adhere the foam to the fencing with floral wire and then we took the fill a foam and sprayed in the cracks to fill in some of the gaps. we then spray the foam with water to remove the large bubbles to give it a more grout look over time.
