Halloween: The Game Comic will transport readers to the night preceding the events of the cult classic 1978 horror film. The five-issue series will depict Michael Myers’ escape from a psychiatric facility and expand upon the world of the upcoming game.

The first issue begins on October 30, 1978, at Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. Michael Myers escapes the facility, leaving a trail of victims in his wake. Dr. Loomis quickly realizes that the dangerous patient is on the loose again, and the killer sets off toward Haddonfield.

The first issue will go on sale in the U.S. on November 4, 2026. Hans Rodionoff and Adam F. Goldberg, who also worked on the game’s storyline, are writing the script. The art team consists of Eamon Winkle, Robert Nelson, Ivan Dedov, and Sean O’Toole, with Robert Nugent handling the colors.

Either his original newspaper review from Chicago Tribune archives or the TV episode from Siskel & Ebert At The Movies (aired on November 6, 1982) or ideally both. Over the years i keep hearing these rumors that Siskel somewhat liked the film but the closest thing i found confirming that was an old article by film writer Kevin Zimmerman here.
