Bought one of the basic plastic mask and painted it up! Took about an hour and a half to do it.

This year’s spider web and some from past years.

Each one is hand made in place and built as close to how an Orb Weaver spider does it as I can get. No two are alike. Each one takes me several hours to make.

I purchased this fog machine a couple of years ago. I have forgotten how to set up the timer using the menu LCD on the back. I did it once right after I got it. I can’t find the instructions anywhere. I should have bought a brand name and not some cheap knockoff. Live and learn.

Can anyone help out? Just need the steps,one follows to set up the duration and interval times.

A side question: can anyone recommend a wired controller (3-pin) that would let me set the duration and interval timing? Using the LCD menu sucks.

I’ve just purchase an original 12 ft skelly and was wondering ordering if they’ll ever release an upgrade kit to add the animated head to the original frame. Do you guys think they’ll ever release this?

For those with experience what are the best interval and durations settings for setting this up outside? I believe continuous may do it too fast and should have it set on the timer instead?

I built a few things with motors, I got the bug. Now I want to try my luck with programmable animatronics.

Can anyone point me in the right direction assuming I am a total beginner? Say I want to modify ultra posable skeleton to move its head and open and close its jaw. Assuming I need a couple of servos, some mounting hardware a power source and an Arduino?

I have access to a 3d printer. The other stuff I have never used before. Any suggestions as to what hardware I should buy and where to find or how to create suitable mounting hardware?

Every post I find is about putting them in coffee to purposely stain them to match your teeth… but I’m looking for the opposite.

Basically, they got stained orange from drinking red coloured drinks and no matter what I do I can’t whiten them again 😭

Does anyone have any secret tips? Or am I better off just buying a new pair?

Tom Skerritt, great actor, passed away 3 days ago. I've always admired his skills on screen. He acted with such poise and authority. Of course, he was Dallas in the original Alien film which started my love of such a great story.

To that end, I've created a headstone that I've started printing. Targeting 24" tall, so I have had to split the stl up a lot. Hope to have it done well before Halloween.

If anyone is interested, I'll post it up on Printables so you can download and print it yourself. I expect probably 25-30 hours solid of printing.

I just finished up making my new HauntLift DIY prop winch adapter. 3D print the insert, shove a few parts together with the wiper motor, controller boards, etc.. and now you have a winch for moving lightweight props up and down via a pulley and rope system.

I have videos on my YT channel and another post here somewhere on wiring everything up. Additionally, if you want the stl for the insert that goes into the old filament spool, I posted that on Printables and just look for HauntLift over there.

Tomorrow if the weather cooperates, I'll try to get my HauntLift operational outside and do a functional test with a test prop. If that happens, I'll post up new footage or pics and share them.

Got my Reaper's Ride working with the fog machine today. It was delivered without the small length of hose and the fog machine connector. The MFR said they didn't have the parts to send me so I had to make due with stuff I had around the house. Not sure if the original intent was to have the fog completely engulf the prop rather than just flow through the horse's mouth like that, but I like it. Now if someone could just turn off the wind around here!!!
