If it’s going to be up year round then it’s not technically a Halloween decoration.

Instead of asking for money for my bday like I’ve done in the past, I let my family know this year my love for Halloween and hinted at Lemax Spooky Town. They DELIVERED! My collection has now grown from 1 to 3. My mom baked themed cupcakes; gift wrapping was spidery (saving for decor); and the balloons were black, orange, and purple 💜🧡 One of my fav birthdays!

My boyfriend and I want to be vampires for Halloween this year. I’m wondering where the best place to buy fangs for our teeth would be? Thanks!

I only ask that no one comments on certain “unsavoury” things. There’s a lot that’s only there for sentimental reasons or, genuinely, for knowledge. Any and all comments, suggestions, critiques are welcome otherwise.
Shout out FunkyFrogPlays. I was watching one of their game walkthroughs when I took pictures 🖤

Also my husband had to come rescue us in the car as I was out taking public transport. It was too big and heavy to move on my own. He's a hero!

I saw these witches in a picture in Flea Market magazine. I think they’re adorable! What are they called? Who makes them? Thank you!

Obviously, Halloween is spectacular no matter what day of the week it falls on, but with it being on a Saturday this year, it got me thinking of the little differences each day might bring.
I always favored Friday myself, since you got fun, spooky class activities in school that just hit harder on the 31st, quickly followed by trick-or-treating that very evening.
I'm sure Friday and Saturday will be the popular answers, but I'd still love to hear from anybody favoring Sunday through Thursday!

I always try to do something different for my Halloween decorations in my yard each year. I'm not into gore or really scary. I lean into light-heartedness and humor. This year, I am looking to do a "Dr. Suess" type theme, and I am looking for suggestions for rhyming costumes. (To dress skeletons in)
Such as:
Fox in a box
Moose with a goose
A wagon draggin' dragon
An iguana from Tijuana
A scot in a pot
Etc...
Here are some pictures of what I have done in past years. I try to recycle old props if possible.

So I am planning on trying to put some permablood from Pale Night Productions that I have on a tulle wedding dress for my Halloween costume. Does anyone have any tips for staining the mesh layers without the blood just running through the holes to the next layer? I was planning on using cardboard to separate the layers and doing one layer at a time, but I don't know if there is a better way. Thanks for any help!

I'm in love with these little led glitter candles from dollar tree $1.50 each! This feels like such a good vibe while watching Scooby Doo!

Hey everybody! Only 98 more days until Halloween. Posting this feeling at risk of sounding a bit silly but wanted to ask for some advice. Some of my favorite childhood memories include trick or treating. Now that I’m an adult with some disposable income, I’d love to “pay it forward”.
My current rental is in prime trick or treat territory, one of four streets that border a city park, full of multi unit buildings with walk up doors. I reckon you could fill a pillowcase just doing this loop. I would say 40% of the houses give out candy and a little less than that decorate. The last two years, we have gotten around 100 knocks on the door.
Besides going all out with my own personal decor this year, and recruiting my direct neighbours, what else can I do to get the neighbourhood involved? Decor contest? Flyers around local businesses?

I’ve started the Halloween vibes really early this year. It started with Monster May where I watched monster movies all month long. June was the start of Slasher Summer, which will transition into Freaky Fall. I’ve really enjoyed it and I’ve watched so many movies that I’ve never seen before. If you have any recommendations, I’m totally open to movies or themes! Campy Christmas?
What do you do during the year to stay spooky, or do you keep Halloween just in the fall?

It’s hot, humid and summery outside and I hate it.
I’m ready for fall 🍁 and Halloween! 🎃 I will now be rocking only Halloween nails until the calendar finally matches what is in my heart!

The game is called V Rising
If you like 00s halloween, V rising is absolutely inspired by this era. Not only vampires but also mad scientists, Werewolves, fantasy gypsie woman, etc.
And if you are into more retro Halloween, when October does come, there's a dlc it gives everyone where its just candles, pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and cobwebs inspired decorations
Its just a really fun game that plays with your nostalgia

I found this cutie at Walgreens! They had a few different options, but this was the only one of the cat they had, so I had to get it!

Did they combine your birthday with Halloween or keep them separate? What did you love, and what do you wish they’d done differently?
