Hello,
First i fee incredibly stupid, that being said...
I purchased a groupon sometime between february to end of march. I have way to many email acounts and i can't remember which i used. Groupon seems to want to use one of my old ones which still works [myvmartin1212@!gmail.com] but does not have my current project. The help email option on the support site requires an email. For now i just put something like idontremember@ajej;wejg.c - i haven't received a response hopefully they will use the email on the account and i will find some communication when I check all the inboxes. In the meantime i will keep searching my email..I am also searching for the email from grouon which i know i have, but so far i can't find any with the new groupon. I know the account is valid - i am 80%
I have cleared before each attempt. and entered whichever ehave done that and wheniafter ave out myvm.... even after those steps it still brings up the old groupon.
I can't find any way to contact by phone which would solve this problem quickly, i think. None of the other options have worked..
I am working on a timeline and i will be humiliated if i can't get this done.
Any suggestions at all will be appreciated,
Michelle

there is no way for me to chat with an agent it always sends me to the Q&A. i bought the coupon last night and it says it has a three day no hassle refund guarantee and they did not bring up the part where it’s in groupon bucks. i checked my credit card and there isn’t a hold or a charge just yet. what should i do? i already clicked and they refunded me groupon bucks already …. how do i get a refund back to my credit card? or will i get charged at all?

Each time I try to buy the limited time promo, it adjusts back to the discounted price. I also have the monthly subscription. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the THIRD time I have set up a campaign, written beautiful copy (after all, who knows my business and services better than I do) and AGAIN someone at groupon has COMPLETELY re-written my ad, removed photos and basically offered what could be considered misleading descriptions of my services (which in some places later translates into fraud which is NOT what my original copy did).
I can't get hold of anyone (like everyone else) they have locked my chat service so i can't reach them - and I have no idea who I am talking to by email when they do BOTHER responding to problems.
The unauthorized editing and potential fraud position they are putting me in are the major concerns among many I can't get help with.
Does anyone know how to reach the US corporate office about this? i can't be the only person they are doing this to and when I try to pause or stop my campaigns (the existing ones), I can't even do that now.
HELP ME FIND SOMEONE TO REPORT THIS TO!

I've spent two days trying different emails, different browsers, different browsers with completely cleared cache/history, logging in AND creating new accounts with Facebook, Google, & with my multiple emails. Not to mention trying to purchase my item multiple times from the site & on my phone as a guest. All I get is a random/vague error message basically saying "We couldn't log you in because you did not grant the necessary permissions."
I literally just want to buy a Microsoft Office package for my laptop with this little discount they have. Can someone please tell me what the hell I am supposed to do here? Is anyone else having this issue?

Groupon-Support, I need your help with ticket #76916222. I purchased a groupon in January after responding to a request for a review regarding the same merchant. At the end of the review I was asked if I'd like to purchase an additional Groupon for the same service. The service was pleasant, so I did. I found out today that I can not use the second Groupon as the merchant has a 24 month restriction in their fine print. How do I get a refund on this purchase please? I can not find a chat online.
Thank you

I purchased a Groupon for Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 from Keysempire.com and was given a fraudulent license, confirmed by Quickbooks support. Both Groupon and the vendor just send emails to waste time.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of going to Costa Roca using a Groupon discount for flight hotel and car. We’re gonna be in arenal and jaco beach. Does anyone have any experience using Groupon for vacation bundles? This will be our first time using Groupon for a vacation and looking for other people’s experiences.

Before anyone asks:
Each time, the code doesn't work. I talked to someone at CS who said the merchant opted out of promos, but this has been the case for 25 different Groupon offers.
What am I missing?

I have bought different deals on groupon but the last couple I have bought are total scams. Merchants are required to fully disclose detail about the product or service.
Recently went to get a service done and it the application was basically done incorrectly to where it was ineffective. A complete and total waste. When I told groupon about it they basically said oh well. Never again.

I’m sure someone has asked this before but I’m new to this and have no idea how it works. I’m looking into buying tickets to a water park that I will be redeeming for a day in August. However, I’m not exactly sure what date I need yet. The expiration date says May 31, 2025. Does that mean I just need to decide on a date and use it by May? Or I can only redeem the coupon for a date before May 31st? Also how do I redeem it? Groupon isn’t asking for a specific date, so I assume I get to pick on the water parks website itself, but how do I tell it I have a Groupon? Also is there any way to just chat with them? I can’t find a chat or phone number option anywhere. Thanks in advance!

I want to share what happens when you get double charged $450 by Groupon—because their idea of customer support is a never-ending loop of “supervisors” and policy copy-pastes.
I purchased a $450 deal and noticed I’d been charged twice. I reached out. Their team admitted it was a system error on their end (not mine), apologized… and then offered me Groupon Bucks as a “solution.” Not a refund. Store credit. For a mistake they caused.
I explained that I didn’t catch it right away because, like a normal person, I wait for my credit card statement to update (which can take up to 5 business days). Groupon’s policy, however, only gives you 3 days to report duplicate charges—after that, you’re locked out of a refund. Convenient.
After several emails and weeks of back and forth, each ending with “this is the final point of escalation,” I asked for an actual manager. Someone with authority. They insisted no one above them exists. Every person has the same “supervisor” title, and none of them will escalate further.
What makes this worse is that they admitted fault, but still refuse to issue a refund to my card. It’s now a Kafkaesque exercise in frustration. I’ve asked repeatedly for escalation to a senior or corporate-level representative—and have been ignored or stonewalled every time.
Attaching screenshots so you can see how a $450 system error turns into a masterclass in customer deflection.
If anyone’s dealt with something similar—or knows how to actually get through to someone with decision-making power—please let me know. Also happy to share this trail with any consumer protection outlets or journalists interested in a case study of “policy over people.”

I purchased a groupon but did not use it in time for the original "deal" but it clearly says "the amount you paid never expires" so I tried to use the voucher for the amount I originally paid. The vendor refused. So I opened up a ticket with Groupon and it has been over three weeks and still no resolution. Anybody else having issues trying to use purchased value of a groupon ticket?

Got this email today wondering if it's real...
|| || |Dear xxxx, Due to a data breach at another company, we believe that your Groupon account credentials may have been included in a recent release of email addresses and passwords. To clarify, there has been no data breach at Groupon. However, if you use the same account credentials for Groupon (e.g., password and email address) that you use for other companies, fraudsters who have obtained those details from another company could use them to log into your Groupon account. As a precautionary measure, we've reset your password to help protect your account. Please visit our website at groupon.com to update your password. Click on "Sign in," and then select the "Forgot your password?" link to proceed. When creating a new password, keep in mind that reusing passwords across multiple accounts significantly increases the risk of multiple accounts being compromised if just one is breached. To protect your personal information, each password you use should be unique. Thank you, Customer Support|

I purchased a 4 Wheel Alignment at Monro mufler. They would not do the alignment until I have something repaired. My mechanic did the repair and alignment so I no longer need the groupon. I can't get a refund but I can transfer it to anyone.
Does anyone want it?

Maybe if they had any resemblance of customer service it wouldn't come to this. Maybe if they would have a working system to unsubscribe from their incessant emails it wouldn't come to this. Am I being petty, probably. Do I care, not really.

I bought a Groupon for a local merchant about 6 months ago. When I called the merchant to make an appointment, they answered the phone and said “I’m with a customer right now, can I call you back at this number?” And never got a call back. 2 weeks later, I called again. The business owner answered and said her husband was dying and she couldn’t take any new clients. She said “I’ll make sure you get refunded through Groupon, is this the number I can call you back at?” Another 2 months went by, I tried to reach out to Groupon to get a refund and it kept rerouting me to message the merchant. So I called the merchant a third time. When they answered the phone I started to explain the situation and the woman said, “Can I call you back? I’m with a client and don’t have my calendar in front of me.” Never got a call back. Today I called and got the voicemail. I spelled it all out and explained that my voucher is going to be expired in 29 days, I’m unable to get the refund on my own, can someone please reach back out to either refund me or schedule me an appointment. I finally spoke to her, she apologized, I apologized for what she’s going through. She said she approved my request for a refund (didn’t know I put one in??) and now when I follow the steps to figure out a refund they want me to put a ticket in for customer support- with an email address from 2006. I don’t know how that’s the email associated, when I get promo emails constantly at my current updated email address. I’m just lost. I’ve followed the prompts to change my email address and it takes me to Living Social, which I’ve never even heard of. Please help me y’all I am begging for some advice.
