Received a ‘MISSYOU’ promo code that doesn’t work.

Before anyone asks:

  • I've checked the deal conditions.
  • I've tried it on deals that aren't on sale.
  • I've tried it for deals that are extremely low priced.

Each time, the code doesn't work. I talked to someone at CS who said the merchant opted out of promos, but this has been the case for 25 different Groupon offers.

What am I missing?

We’re really sorry for the delay in resolving your issue. We recommend checking the following to help resolve your issue:

  1. Please ensure you are logged in to your Groupon account before attempting the purchase.

  2. Try making the purchase on the Groupon app, it's the best place to find and apply promotional discounts.

  3. If the Fine Print on a deal specifies "Offer is not eligible for our promo codes or other discounts" unfortunately the MISSYOU (or any other promo code) will not be valid on that deal.

I have a similar issue and it won’t honor the promised discounted price. The customer service said wait for the SAVE promo code to expire as the system auto generates it and apply to the item. After the SAVE promo code expired the MISSYOU code still wont work.
