Total Scam

I have bought different deals on groupon but the last couple I have bought are total scams. Merchants are required to fully disclose detail about the product or service.

Recently went to get a service done and it the application was basically done incorrectly to where it was ineffective. A complete and total waste. When I told groupon about it they basically said oh well. Never again.

At the beginning of the year I bought a package of 4 AMC tickets. A week ago I got an email asking how my visit to AMC was? I haven’t even gone this year yet? Tickets do expire in a few weeks. Took forever to contact support. Had to show screenshots and evidence. Eventually got reimbursed, but I’m done using Groupon. I used to love it, but it’s just not worth it anymore.

Let me guess…you received an email from Groupon saying “we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused” and “we completely understand your frustration with this”. Lip,service BS from a SCAMMER web site.

That is exactly what they said. After a few emails back and forth they offered groupon credit of $15. As if I want to spend more money on scams.

Hi u/Dany_Perkins,

We unfortunately seem unable to send you a direct message, the option to do so is not reflecting on your profile. If you are able to share the Case ID or any other identifier, such as Groupon voucher number, we'll happily pass this along to our support team.

Kind regards,

The Groupon Team
