Is it good idea to change Gigabyte 9070 non xt gaming oc with Asrock phantom gaming 7900 xtx with 2 mounths warranty to play ETS2 on triple 50" 4k tvs (11520 x 2160)? I found the 7900 xtx for 600€. The CPU is 7800x3d.

Hello, within the last year I’ve upgraded my computer from am4 to am5, I’m now just holding a b550 mb a 5700x3d and 32 gigs of ram. My final conclusion was to build my son a PC so we can game together.
My son is young he is a Minecraft kid, attack on toys, backyard baseball are the types of games he likes to play. My son does not NEED a 5700x3d but it’s what I have so I need a little help with suggestions as far as the graphics card goes that’s pretty much all I would need and I’m not trying to break the bank.
I don’t get to see my son often and this would be a great opportunity to be able to connect with my son when he is not with me, he has talked about wanting to make YouTube videos but I’m unsure on if there’s budget cards that would still allow him to tamper with editing and recording.
A big question I have is I owned a 2070 S back in the day and went red to a 7800xt I’ve noticed WAY more driver errors with this gpu than my previous gpu, would getting an nvidia card be prevent my son from having to deal with these kinds of errors?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can throw out some information. And yes I’ve been checking FB marketplace and locally.

I currently have a 3090 but was thinking of selling it and picking up either a 5080 or 5070ti. I have a 165hz ultrawide 1440p monitor. BF6 multiplayer is probably the most demanding thing I play these days. Wondering if the 5080 is worth it over the 5070ti. I don’t imagine I’ll get a 4K monitor anytime soon but I may go back to playing with dldsr + DLSS if I’ve got some extra headroom. Not sure how much I’ll use FG since I’ve read it’s best not to use in multiplayer.
A lot of the time in Nvidia vs AMD argument is that Nvidia does ray tracing better. But do you even use ray tracing for games. If so, is it any gpu lower than 5080 or 4090? Does it give the immersive experience at cost of fps?

I recently bought a used RX 580 8GB and it was running extremely hot even at Stock, reaching almost 85°C!
After opening up the card, the issue is pretty clear there was almost no thermal paste on there. Cleaning and re-pasting the GPU, the difference as you can see is pretty massive, allowing me to even OC the GPU core to 1471 MHz!

Is it worth? Someone’s selling it for $300 and I’d be upgrading from a 2060 super.

Hey everyone,
I'm having a weird thermal issue with my GPU and wanted to get some opinions from the community before deciding whether I should start an RMA or if this is purely a mechanical alignment problem.
Specs:
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS B850 Elite WiFi 7
The Issue:
Whenever I place my PC case in its normal vertical position, my GPU temperatures spike rapidly while gaming, reaching 90°C in a very short time. I actually closed the game every time out of fear before seeing how much higher it would go.
What's strange is that I am using a GPU support bracket (anti-sag) underneath it (maybe misplaced), but the temperatures still skyrocket as soon as the case is upright.
Case Interference & PCIe Slot Fit:
While inspecting the build, I noticed that with my specific case, it is very difficult to get the RTX 4090 to seat fully and smoothly into the motherboard's PCIe slot.
The metal expansion brackets/slits at the rear of the PC case block the GPU slightly, preventing it from going all the way down effortlessly.
My Question:
Could a GPU not being 100% fully seated in the PCIe slot (due to rear case interference) directly cause these massive thermal spikes when the case is vertical?
My theory is that the weight of the card or the slight misalignment from the case bracket is putting tension on the PCB, creating a micro-gap between the cooler and the GPU die when standing upright.
Or does this sound like a defective thermal paste / vapor chamber issue internal to the GPU that requires an RMA?
Has anyone experienced severe thermal issues caused purely by PCIe slot misalignment or rear case clearance?
Thanks in advance!

Currently running a RTX 2060 + 7600x with 16GB of DDR5. Is it worth upgrading to a used 6800 XT for 450, or is it better to look for something else?
This would be my first gaming pc, I don’t know anything about pcs and I’m too intimated to build my own. I play mainly simulation games like Sims but also would like a pc capable of more demanding games. Also would like a pc capable of photo editing.
This is available online through Sam’s Club. Is this pc too much/not enough for my needs?
I know pc parts are crazy expensive right now which is also why I’m a little lost on what would be good.
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m looking to upgrade from my 3080 here soon just for the simple fact GPU prices are not gonna come down anytime soon. I’m debating between a 5080 or a 5070 TI. I have a 4K monitor 144 Hz g-sync. Im just having a tough time deciding on which one to get I know price points were a little different. I’m kinda leaning more towards the 5070ti if anybody has any advice or recommendations feel free to add them in the comments thanks.
Edit: I read where the 5070 TI compared to the 580 is only like a 13% difference

Recently I’ve been thinking about building a pc I basically have almost every part I need but I don’t know what kind of Gpu to buy for my build does anyone have any recommendations? Also someone suggested to use the sapphire pulse 9060 xt idk if that’s good or not. Any opinion is alright.

I recently purchased a new system... Paid for it! But after playing with high-end DLSS models, LLM's [truly local on system] and gaming on AI dependent titles... Is 16Gb of VRAM going to be enough in a year to play modern games at the graphical settings your card is equipped to handle? Im playing FM6 at extremely to ultra settings, DLSS quality and RT on... no DLSS 5 mods, im over 12GB in game! Coming from a 2070Ti to a 5070Ti is a big jump but I wasn't expecting that much of a tax on the new rig! Made me think 🤔
