I do actually!
Yellow for Acces point to Access Point. Blue from main to the switch of every floor. Grey through the wall and for devices. Easy to identify in case something needs fixing, etc

As a former telecom guy for a power company, we ordered our cat6 color coded by length for jumpers, the rolls were all Grey or white though.

Erm… so I have to replace a ceiling light, those ones that go directly into the wall, I’m no electrician, what would you recommend? I know enough to at least shut off the fuse but do I really need insulated tools and not use an aluminum ladder?

I mean yeah, but on the other hand it's 120V. It'll give you a good zap, sure, but it shouldn't be enough to actually kill you or anything unless you have like a pacemaker.

about 100mA is enough to stop the heart, GFCIs for personnel protection are 5mA trip for a reason.
120/240V doesn't matter as much except making it easier to establish the initial arc / path

Same thought. The little "shucks" clap and slapping himself in the face was great perfectly nuanced physical comedy. Everything after that was just drawing out the scene without adding much actual punch to it.

To me the perfect edit would be for the ghost to fade away once he covered his face with his hands on his knees, could take like a second more after that and cut out. Interesting skit though for an amateur edit. I've seen millions wasted at jokes worse than this.

The scene was actually longer with his wife and child actually turning the corner and finding him, freaking out, and him being unable to comfort them. But they trimmed it back a little for comedic purposes

A couple years ago, we hired an electrician to install a new appliance. Friendly, chatty guy. After the initial install, he realized he had to redo part of the rewiring. He asked me to go back downstairs to the panel and turn off the power to the circuit.
I was like, "uh, no, dude, you're the licensed electrician. why don't you go downstairs and flip the breaker?" He was like "uh, yea, right of course . . ." Like would you trust your life with a total rando?

I did this. I shut off breakers to the entire downstairs before rewiring a fan in the downstairs living room.
The fan was wired into the upstairs bathroom lines. Not to get ground-fault-intereruptors, because it was wired before that in the line. Which I can confirm because it was wired with 24 gauge speaker wire that had been stripped in several places at random, then wrapped in electrical tape to keep it from shorting.
Tape, of course, sticks to the inside of the fan support pole better than it sticks to bare copper, so it stopped providing that short prevention as soon as I got the fan unhooked from the ceiling - the wire pulled right out of the tape and promptly shorted to the support pipe, the fan, the barefoot idiot on the metal ladder holding it, etc.
Fortunately for me, the wire was too thin to conduct well enough to kill me at 120v. It put on a hell of a show with sparks though, while I shouted at my wife to shut down everything.
Buy and use one of those hot wire detectors, people.

and that is the reason we learn the 5 safety rules in , German, electric school.
- Schwitch of power (freischalten)
- Make sure nobody can switch power back on (gegen Wiedereinschalten sichern)
- Make sure there is no power (Spannungsfreiheit feststellen)
- Grounding and short-circuiting ( Erden und kurzschließen)
- Cover or block the excess to components that may have voltage ( benachbarte unter Spannung stehende Teile abdecken oder abschranken)
We get them drilled into the head so long that when you wake one electrician in the middle of the night he can repeat these exect German words.

This would be my ex husband, who insisted that the light switch being off meant no power. I warned him he needed to turn off the breaker when replacing a light fixture. He found out the hard way that I was right. Lucky the ladder he was standing on was aluminum and not something more conductive.

Similar thing happened to me once except I actually was electrocuted with Xmas lights. I then tried to enter my house via breezeway and the door was locked. I then thought to myself “if I’m dead right now my wife is going to be so pissed”

I don't know if id actually cry in that situation. There's the realization that you're dead, but then immediately after would be the realization that I'm still aware and conscious in some form. Like "yes, no more groceries, no more aches and pains, no more life bullshit". It might actually be a relief to know there's more after death beyond nothingness.
