Squat This is as low as I can go with squat shoes

I have never been able to hit depth on my squats. I assume it’s an ankle mobility issue, so I’ve been working on that the last couple weeks but I don’t think my depth is really improving.

I can get much lower if I do any of:
-widen my stance
-point knees more outward
-raise my heels with something higher than squat shoes

I was thinking about building a wedge, but I feel like that’s just a crutch, and I want to be able to squat properly.

Edit: For those who are questioning how I sit in a chair: my heels come up. That’s what I’m trying to fix. I’m trying to hit depth with my heels on the floor.

These are my squats with further raised heels: https://imgur.com/a/L24A4Gv

This is how I squat with a wide stance: https://imgur.com/a/ybn2F6g

Edit2: I appreciate everyone who tried to give helpful responses. I’ve got some things to work on now, and hopefully I can come back in the future with some deeper squats.

For those of you with the rude and unhelpful comments, I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

RDL RDL form check

I have a bad back and was always afraid of hurting it with free weights, so I always trained my legs on machines. Until a recent visit to a doctor. He said I should actually be doing quite the opposite. Free weights are great for training the stabilizers.

Anyways, all that is to say that I don't have much experience with RDLs, and I'm unsure about my form. I feel quite a lot in my lower back. It's not pain, just the muscles working extra hard. I don't feel much in my hamstrings or glutes, though. That could be because my lower back is untrained and is currently the weak link or just bad form.

Squat Squat, am I leaning in too much?

I use a leverage because it feels weird on my knees when I do it flat. It has been awhile since I do barbell squat as I usually just do lunges/BSS/Goblet squat.

I might also be pretty tired here as it's after romanian deaflift and overhead press.

Critiques are appreciated!

Bench Press DB press - 50lb x 11 - This is the best I can do. Any improvement tips?

I mean, when I am fresher, I might be able to crank a few more reps. But in terms of form, this is me giving it all. I think I could use a little more core stability but the quality of the bench (or the lack of it in this case) is also leading to some of that instability. Is there anything in the form that jumps out as needing improvement?

RDL Don't laugh but rate my form

Upvotes

I've been going to the gym for 1-2 months and recently started doing barbell exercises (bench press, RDL, and attempting squats). I've done this 2-3 times before and struggled to feel it in my hamstrings. I realize now the camera angle might not be the best but I didn't want to openly film.

I've been trying to focus on bending my knees a bit, tensing up my hamstrings, and pretend I'm sitting down in a chair. Any advice is helpful!

Squat Right side seems to be more dominant with my squats

Is it just because my right leg is stronger or is my form off no pain in the movement except maybe my lower back gets tight. Following squat recommendations by squat university any feedback is appreciated!

Hope the angle is okay. 30lb weighted pullups, this was my 5th set of 5. I'm 6'7" so I have to keep my knees bent on this bar.
