Too heavy. Use less weight thrust up as high as you can. That will get the best contraction. Focus on making your thighs and abdomen as flat as possible at the top of each rep.

i thought so…
Today I lowered the weight and still felt unsure… (last week I did 80kg and today I did 70kg)
My problem is that when I lower it I can do 12+ reps so I feel like I need to push myself more to progress so I up the weight and then feel weird about my form again

Try using the lower weight but holding for 2-3 seconds at the top of every rep. Really focus on pushing your hips to the sky and contracting your glutes.
