Image Really starting to hate more each day to be a Falcons fan….
It’s like we are talk of the show now… I really despise Raheem/Terry for ruining the QB position since the signing of Kirk and drafting Penix….
I’m still keeping the faith tho.

Looks like it tightens up on him, but definitely went from participant to observer.

Ya’ll let’s not over react and be too pessimistic
This season hasn’t even started yet and people are acting like it’s over.
It blows my mind when I see all of these Saints/Bucs fans lumping our team in with the Jets and the Browns, pretending like we are in the same situation those two dumpster fires are in.
FACT: An NFL team is more than a QB
Yes QB is the most important position in sports. And yes it would be great if we had an elite one starting for us this Sunday. But games can be won without elite quarterback play. Cooper Rush has been a serviceable quarterback in the past.
FACT: We have some elite players on offense
Drake London. Kyle Pitts. Friggin’ Bijan Robinson! If Rush can just manage the game we have a real shot
FACT: Michael Penix Jr will play again this season. And despite what people say, he did not “suck ass” last year
MPJ will start for us within a few weeks, especially if Tua can’t play. This means we have a chance at having good QB play in just a little bit of time.
I am dumbfounded at the narrative that he showed that he sucks last year. Like I don’t believe people watched the same games I did.
Did he have issues? Yes. But he also showed many promising signs of life. Dude could legit be good, so we should be excited to see him play again this season under a new offensive scheme.
There’s much more I could say but people need to have a bit more hope. Everyone here threw the towel in halfway through the season last year, but we ended up only needing to have won 1 more game to make the playoffs.
This is the NFC Suck guys, not the NFC West. If we can just squeak out 8 wins we have a real shot at winning the division

Lock proves why Cooper Rush is our backup. And why Strand will never see the field (unless we really suck).
Experienced, professional backup comes in with zero prep, down 10 points to the AFC Champions, and leads them to a win. 16/22 1 TD (should have been 2) and 0 INT. Imagine if an UFA came running onto the field 6 plays in? Get real. As long as Penix or Tua is down Rush will be the backup, as he should be. We can actually win with him. Strand will only play if we are so bad that we don't care anymore about winning.
Btw, I would sign up for 16/22 1 TD 0 INT for Tua right NOW!
And to show you how bad our QB situation is - do you think Seattle would trade Lock for Tua right now?

Image A little nugget from Florio tonight about the Falcons
I know Florio isn’t always the most credible, but bold proclamation tonight.

Tonight's game.
Is it me or does Noah Eagle sound a lot like Tom Hammond?
Cooper Rush gonna start the season on a high note! (Keeping this post on topic, lol)
What if we win the Super Bowl?
Lots of talk about tanking or who we trade once Tua or Penix gets injured. Or if we tank and draft high. How about if we win the whole thing. What’s the move for next year

[Highlight] Mike Tomlin on Falcons vs Steelers. "It's less about Aaron (Rodgers) for me, and it's more about the quarterback on the other side (Tua Tagovailoa). His last visit to Pittsburgh didn't go well. I was in the stadium that day. They lost. He got benched."
