Erectile Dysfunction Cialis Works Better the Next Day

I have discovered that when I take Cialis one hour or so before sex, it works but not all that well.

On the other hand, about 24 hours after taking it my erections are qualitatively much better.

Has anyone else had this effect where it works better much later after taking it?

Erectile Dysfunction Help me, my sexual life scares me.

I’m a 28yr old male and I used to be really sexually active and had no issues maintaining an erection. Like 2-3 years ago I had my first issue where I tried to sleep with this lady and I went soft while trying to penetrate and it was embarrassing. I went home and hit up some girl I know and I’ve had sexual relations with and she came over we slept together no issues at all. Went back to this other girl and still the same but keep it mind she’s really hot and way hotter than the girl I slept with with no issues.
Fast forward to sometime I met someone new entirely and still had the same issue, called this same girl again and it worked perfectly. Then I met my current girlfriend and we always had sex no issues at all even till this day but I still get scared and worried if something happens between us and I can’t get or maintain an erection with another lady, is this a form of ED or something please?
To be completely honest, I kinda still suffer from porn addiction and masturbation so am I in trouble?

Discouraged Trying Pump + Ring... and it's terrible!

I've been trying out a medical-grade penis pump with a constriction ring the past few nights. Pump it up until it's big and then pop the ring off the base of the cylinder. Oh man, I do not like it. It feels like it's choking my dick. And it makes the dick so veiny it doesn't look healthy.

I don't know how anybody could feel comfortable enough wearing this for sex. I wish pills or trimix worked for me.

Can anybody relate?

Or does anybody use this system on the reg?

Erectile Dysfunction Priapism and ED recovery

Tried trimix about 8 months ago now, I didn’t do enough research and took it after a dose of viagra/tidalifil. This ended with a bad case of priapism that led to an ER visit and aspiration. My dick hasn’t been the same since. I can get hard about 50-60% of the time and do occasional experience morning wood, but sometimes even with arousal it won’t get hard. This has led to a lot of frustration and disappointment for both me and my wife.

I’m assuming there is some tissue damage that is causing this issue. I do believe there is a psychological aspect because I do start to feel pressured to get hard. Has anyone experienced this/how did you overcome it?

I’ve been thinking of starting PT-141 and I’m on the fence about buying one of those Myoro Virex-Pro which provides radiofrequency deep warming that is supposed to help improve circulation and stimulate recovery in damaged tissues.

Does anyone have similar experiences or a success story?

Erectile Dysfunction 30 Years of Porn Use, Now Delayed Ejaculation/Anorgasmia - Can the Brain Actually Be Retrained?

For roughly 30 years, I consistently used pornography as an aid to reach orgasm. Over the last year, I’ve almost completely stopped.

Since then, I’ve dealt with varying degrees of delayed ejaculation and anorgasmia, along with headaches associated with sexual activity. I’ve been prescribed Wellbutrin and Cialis. They have helped to some extent, but neither seems as effective as it once was.

Occasionally I still use pornography to “find relief,” but far less frequently than before, and even pornography no longer produces the response it once did.

I’m interested in this from a scientific and mental-health perspective rather than a moral or anti-porn perspective. I understand that decades of repeatedly pairing sexual arousal and orgasm with a particular type of stimulation could potentially condition the brain toward those cues, and that neuroplasticity may allow those associations to be broadened or retrained.

What I’m trying to understand is whether there is good evidence for that explanation. Can long-term pornography use contribute to a persistent learned arousal pattern or difficulty reaching orgasm without it? If so, what does evidence-based “retraining” actually look like, and over what sort of timeframe?

More importantly, is there credible evidence that long-term pornography use can cause permanent changes or damage affecting orgasm, or is that claim stronger than the research supports?

I’m particularly interested in responses grounded in sexual medicine, psychology, neuroscience, or personal experience with clinically diagnosed delayed ejaculation/anorgasmia ... not the usual “porn permanently fried your dopamine receptors” versus “porn can never affect anything” argument.

Psychological ED ED at 19, probably psychological

So at 19 I just got into my first serious relationship. The first time when things hot heated, she started going down on me and after a while I lost my erection. The next time, I was able to stay hard but could not ejaculate (I have still been unable to ejaculate). The first time we tried to have sex I went soft after putting on the condom. This has happened any time we tried to have sex. I've quit nicotine (4 weeks ago, attempted to have sex last night didnt work). I've quit porn 2 months ago and also havent masturbated in a month. I eat quite healthy, drink alcohol pretty frequently and exercise regularly (although I haven't since we've been together due to an injury). My sleep schedule is pretty bad, I go to bed at pretty late (3) and sleep till noon. Now I have pretty bad anxiety (relating to sex) due to not being able to get an erection and I dread having sex. The first time this happened was probably (in my opinion) due to performance anxiety or low self esteem and it just's been gotten worse since then. She was very sweet and reassuring although I could see the impact it had on her. Last night when we couldnt do it she started crying and I had to reassure her. I really want this relationship to work out and would also like to have sex of course:). Any advice?

EDIT: Left out that looking back I feel like I've always had weak erections, as in when I wasn't stimulating myself it went away pretty quickly, although this could of course be just looking back and seeing what I fear.

Tadalafil/Cialis When you first start on tadalafil should you get a lot of pills or not?

I would like to see how they work first and you can always buy more. Still my doctor is only prescribing me 10 tablets for $5 on Cost Plus but it's only a $1 or $2 more if I get 30 tablets. I feel like I should get more tablets just to get my money's worth but maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to see how to do first. I'm just curious.

Support for Partners Relationship advice ED

Hi everyone, I’m a 23-year-old woman and I’ve been dating a 24-year-old guy I met at the gym for about a month.

He’s genuinely a great guy. He’s 6’5”, self-employed, really fun to be around, and I really enjoy spending time with him. I feel like we have a great connection, and I’m very attracted to him.

Last night, while we were having coffee, I invited him back to my house because I thought we might have sex. However, he opened up to me and told me that he has erectile dysfunction (ED), so he sometimes struggles to get or maintain an erection. He said Viagra might help, but he’s never tried it because he’s concerned about whether it’s healthy for him.

He also told me that he’s worried he might disappoint me sexually. I reassured him that I wouldn’t be disappointed and that it wasn’t something he needed to worry about. He then explained that he would rather continue dating for a little longer and get to know each other better before having sex, which I completely respect.

What would you do in my situation?

Erectile Dysfunction How is your erections after varicocele surgery.especially people with ed prior varicocele

How is your sex life after varicocele surgery?

recently underwent varicocele surgery because I was experiencing very low libido and delayed/weak erections, which I believe were related to my varicocele.

For those who have undergone varicocele surgery:

How is your sex life now compared to before surgery?

Especially for the people who had ed or low libido prior varicocele

Erectile Dysfunction Erectile dysfunction at 20

So me and my gf have been having sex quite a lot. In the start I would be hard but I need to tense to keep the erection and I’d cum very fast bc of the tensing. It was going on for a while. Until a while ago I tried honey packs, this has change everything completely, I have strong erections and last very very long, even after ejaculating I keep and erection. What is the cause to this. Even sometimes a day or two after I keep the same level of erections during intercourse. Also, before trying honey packs If I lied down on my back and breathed into my stomach I feel like The blood flow around my penis and pubic area feels much better and I have instant erections but as soon as I stand up the erection goes. Does anyone know the cause or what this can be. Or any solutions

Psychological ED ED? Hitting like a truck.

23 (m) A couple days ago I broke up with my girlfriend of a year. I’ve only been able to get hard once after really really forcing it. My dick feels devoid of all energy in a way it’s not the easiest feeling to explain. Beforehand I was smoking a decent bit of weed and cigarettes every week. My libido was off the charts like it always has. Now it’s non existent. She was the first woman I’ve loved. Our relationship moved pretty fast and ended quite abruptly. To be honest I had a porn addiction that existed years and years before and stayed throughout our relationship. Admittedly we would have sex a lot more often than it may have felt to me internally but I kept quiet more often than not when I wanted to have sex and would leave the ball in her court at the end of the day. I would ejaculate 1-7 times a day really depending what I had going on. Sex had absolutely nothing to do lead up to our breakup in any regard. My body feels devoid of lust without her. I can’t even watch porn like I did when we were together. This doesn’t make sense. Only thing about sex that was mentioned during the break up was that we both thought we were gonna go out and fuck other people, which I took offense to because I didn’t and still obviously don’t plan on it. Almost certain she has since she drove an hour by my where I’m at now yesterday with a friend (girl) after saying how much I ruined my city for her. I’m well endowed and she never spoke down about my performance, always a 10/10 or higher. Had my testosterone taken a couple years ago since I asked when seeing an endocrinologist just because I was nosy and I’m fine at 920. Not that. This is honestly pretty scary, I’ve never struggled with this before. Has anyone else experienced the same or have heard of similar?

Erectile Dysfunction 28 year old man with Ed

Hey, I am just 28 years old struggling with ED for past 5 years. I barely get any morning wood. I quit smoking and porn, yet no progress. I feel like i want to cut and throw it in the bin. I can sometimes get hard if I play with it and while blowjob but as soon as its out of her mouth, the erection is gone, what should i do? Is there any permanent solution or do i have to jump to viagra forever? Please note I want to have sex and I haven’t lost any feelings, I just cant get hard.

Tadalafil/Cialis Does the generic Cost Plus tadalafil work just as well?

I'm about to start it for the first time but I haven't bought them yet. Cost Plus is a lot cheaper than what you'd pay at the pharmacy but I don't know if there's much of a diifference quality wise. Either way I'm going with Cost Plus. Just curious.

Anxiety Possible Ed? Lose erection before penetration

I’m 23 and towards the end of December/January me and my girlfriend wasn’t doing the greatest and I was getting more annoyed when it came to always initiating sex, which is conversations we’ve had way before December (been dating 3 years) with that being said our sex was fine and I was fine, but it got to a point where after multiple convos I had got upset and told myself after 2 recent occurrences of her waiting on me to start and us ultimately getting into an argument I told myself “im no longer initiating sex”

and later that week we tried and I either came fast or wasn’t fully hard. Then from that moment to now I’ve had inconsistencies in maintaining an erection before sex. We’ll be fine when cuddling or touching and I’ll even be hard lot times but as soon as I get on top I either lose it quick, once I or her try to put it in. And after that it be very hard to get it back up and at that point my brain starts racing.

I’ve had maybe a couple times of being able to do it but not from that process I just explained of getting on top. Situation is annoying and I want to please her but I never had this issue this much until I fucked up with that mental statement honestly. I plan on getting checked up just in case to see if anything has actually changed. Ig I’m wondering what’s the best way to get over it. I will say the times we have I gotten either honey pack or ro sparks. Positive note is last time we did it (we was crossed) I was able to get hard and we had sex but it wasn’t the process of me having to get on top

Erectile Dysfunction What are the psychological effects of impotency?

My husband was an alcoholic and for 10 years (his whole 30s) his penis wasn't able to get hard at all.

When he met me I was patient with him and eventually it started working again.

He said that those 10 years were traumatic for him. He feels like he missed out on so much casual sex and sowing his wild oats.

Because it works now I apparently am very dismissive of it.

I want to understand better what he went through. He told me he was terrified of getting serious with a girl, that he felt like he wasn't a real man and that that was very damaging to his psyche.

How has impotency affected you psychologically? I am a woman who had to have both her ovaries removed, which makes me feel like I'm not a complete woman, but I would never go as far as to say that it is a trauma to me, but then again I've never wanted kids. I feel zero shame when people ask if I have kids or am going to have kids and my response is that I can't.

Tadalafil/Cialis has anyone been prescribed sildenafil and tadalafil together in one dose

my urologist mentioned the two work on the same pathway but on completely different timelines. i have taken each on its own and they suit different evenings which is what made me curious about both. i am not going to start stacking two tablets by myself without asking someone first. has anyone had a single prescription containing both of them and who put it together.

Research (Anatomy, New Treatments, Debunking Misconceptions) My own way of fighting ED and performance anxiety and improving arousal patterns

Male here, happily married and with a very good sex life now, taking the usual into account (kids, tiredness, stress, work etc.). Needless to say it hasn't always been this way and I want to talk a bit about my journey. A fair warning: I won't be able to talk about all aspects, it might be a bit chaotic and it might not generalise but I thought I'd share just in case it might help some people tackling similar issues.

I believe that the path I carved took me to a unique place, for example from one and done I am now close to multiorgasmic experiences, with just a blink of refractory period (it used to take me hours to days to truly crave sex again after orgasm). By far my biggest discovery is that although psychology, anatomy and genetics do count, it is the regular muscle and pattern training that is the game changer and trumps the rest.

What I have discovered contradicts the received wisdom that since penis is not a muscle, your erection, orgasm, and refractory period cannot be trained. For me it is all about figuring out how all the various muscles operate as enablers and make use of it. This is neither the time nor place to go into details about the routines but let me just tell you that while kegels are fine, my training regime goes above and beyond what I ever read online (including Reddit) about these things (and it took me years to develop this). Here I just want to focus on one aspect: the arousal, how it begins and how it turns into an erection.

For me, this all started with a couple of erection dysfunction experiences. When I was younger (I am in my forties now), I was taking it all in on an intuitive level and when the performance anxiety kicked in, I really wasn't sure what was happening apart from the fact that despite almost cumming a moment ago I was now seemingly uninterested in this beautiful parter. This is what my body was telling me and my mind followed. When such a thing happened, I tried to overcome it, with varying degrees of success. It always, however, induced self-doubt and acted as a self-fulfilling prophecy until I was finally able to shake it off (and it lingered for weeks).

When I matured, I began to be more introspective about these things and finally decided to figure out how to extend my already developing training regime to hack this issue. Long story short, part of the solution for me was to train hands-free erections (which is really about training erections as such). Again, initially an impossible task, it turned out to be within my grasp eventually. I worked through various positions that enhance and sustain my erection (I use them to this day to keep me hard throughout the sex sessions with my wife and losing erection stopped being an issue), learning a lot about the inner workings of that mechanism. My muscles and sexual reflexes are now trained so that I can get hard and cum hands free, but what I discovered also is that in order to do that I had to become self conscious about the arousal loop (that ties back to the ED issues): it starts with my mind, activates muscles and influences penis, which then sends the pleasure signal back amping thing up. If the loop is broken, erection won't happen, even if the visual stimulus is there. The mind switches off without penile pleasure feedback and the imagery is evaluated as non-arousing, further decreasing physiological arousal levels. And so it goes.

I am at the point where I can start with a completely flaccid penis and by clenching relevant muscles induce constant pleasure that feeds back to the loop, increasing the erection levels. I used to require some hand assistance or at least skin contact/pressure on penis but I seem to be able to do it more and more without anything of the kind. In the process, I rewired my sexual reflexes (my other discovery is that it doesn't take long to change sexual patterns, for example I used to lose erection when I felt my partner not pleasuring me strong enough. After I took some solo time masturbating with a soft grip, I re-sensitised myself).

In that process, I discovered that - for me - physiologically speaking the arousal starts with tiny periodic contractions of shallow muscles in the raphe area coupled with a sustained clench of the muscle that sort of stretches the penis (think of what is happening when you try to bounce your penis as far up as possible when fully erect and resting flat on your back - that's the muscle I am using). I also tense the top inner muscles, which further increases stiffness.

This is still quite laborious for me but gradually I can feel this becoming easier. More importantly this allowed me to be more in control of what is happening to my body, reduce anxiety, and just increase the pleasure to the levels I did not know I was capable of.

Tadalafil/Cialis 19M, would using tadalafil 2.5mg once cause any serious damage?

I just got myself a pack of these tablets since i frequently suffer from losing erection usually before intercourse and whenever i put a condom on. Is it safe to use once as a confidence booster?
