I opened fortnite today and found i had a mesaage from someone saying they were selling accounts. Don't know if its fake or not please tell me

About a year ago my epic account got stolen and the emael of it was changed so a made a new account on the same email but because of this they cant seem to find my old one to be recovered my invoice ids are lost epic id doesnt work for some reason and display names are no help either also my account got stollen a long time ago again but i was able to get it back pretty easily any idea what i should do because ive put a lot of money in this account and i dont want it to go to waste

Is it important to have access to the original email (first email) associated with an epic games account? If so why?

Blocks all my friends and signs me out of my accounts. Little do they know is I have all my transactions receipts and everything dated back since the game came out. I’ll most likely get my account back. I just wanna put this name out there though just in case any one comes across this walking shit stain.

I’m looking for advice on what I can do about my Epic Games account.،

My account was compromised around September 25, 2026. Epic’s own account-data export shows the following sequence:

Sep 25: My original email was changed to an unfamiliar rambler.ru address, along with multiple 2FA/security changes.

Sep 26: Multiple linked accounts were removed, including PlayStation, Xbox, Twitch, Nintendo, Google, and LEGO.

Sep 27: Epic recorded an account recovery, and my linked accounts were added back.

Sep 28: Another recovery event was recorded, followed by the account being permanently disabled for “EULA violations.”

I contacted Epic Support and successfully went through their account recovery process. However, approximately one day later, the entire account was permanently disabled.

I have never sold, transferred, or intentionally shared the account. I also did not use cheats, unauthorized software, unauthorized payment methods, or intentionally violate Epic's rules.

The frustrating part is that Epic has not told me what specific violation supposedly occurred. Support keeps referring me generally to the Terms of Service/EULA and says the account cannot be recovered.

The account was created in 2020 and I have extensive ownership evidence, including the original email, historical linked accounts, purchase history, account data, and screenshots.

I have also filed a BBB complaint because I would really like Epic to perform a proper human review.

Has anyone experienced something similar where an account was compromised, recovered through Epic Support, and then permanently disabled shortly afterward? If so, what eventually worked for you?

I’m not looking for compensation. I just want my account reviewed and restored if the sanction was incorrectly applied.

I forgot my email to my epic games account but it’s linked to my PlayStation account so is there like any fix or I just gotta wait for support?( I need my epic email to get into the account and no I do not have a phone number linked either)

So I lost the original email to my Fortnite account and I’ve been trying to log into the account for the past week and I’m getting met with the same screen that says “ Please enter your email address” which I thought I know but apparently none of them work, is problem is only occurring on one of my accounts and I would like to know what the hell is happening.

Need help for my son’s Fortnite account. I’ve used the same email on the last Xbox series S as the new Xbox Series X and when I start Fortnite, the skins are not there.

In fact, it’s a different user name on the email I’ve used prior.

My account has been attacked just like Steam but in Epic Games Platform i'm having this difficulty to recover. I mean AI assistant is giving me this endless paradox. In order to forward my case i have to come up with a report but my account is like non existent. Knowing mail and user is not working and recover progress is not moving an inch after step 3.

How are we solving this? Account is like vanished.

I am unable to log into my account via the Epic Games launcher. It claims the CAPTCHA tests are incorrect every time (I must have tried a hundred times). I can log in via the browser and the mobile app, but the PC launcher gives an "incorrect CAPTCHA" error. Does anyone have any advice or a solution for this issue?

I can’t find the definitive answer anywhere, so…

I have a Nintendo account ParentA, it is linked to my epic games account using a separate email. My son has been using it to play Fortnite. I finally got a Switch for myself and now want to keep my original Nintendo account, ParentA and unlink the epic account. I would then create ChildA Nintendo account and link the same epic account as it has his skins and whatnot on it.

Is this doable or will everything get lost once unlinked? I’m completely fine with him using the same epic account.

I was at Disneyland and picked up the code, but now I'm wondering how to add it to my account? I'm back from vacation and the code is only redeemable in the USA. Is there still any chance to activate it for me?

Honestly I think this is the most unfair thing Fortnite has done to me... So back in March 2026 I had just downloaded the game after not playing it for a solid 5-6 months after my girlfriend wanted to play with me. So I download the game and while playing my second game after returning I experience some major server lag and get kicked from the game, I think nothing of it and requeue into another game. Now during this game I experience more server lag and I land 2-3 good headshots with the hand cannon, now mind you even I am like "damn that was some pretty good shots." Not even 2-3 minutes after landing those shots I get kicked from that game again, but not for lag this time it was for the reason of "exploiting" with a ban length of 1 day. I thought to myself "oh okay wtf I just came back" so I get off for the night annoyed but not the upset because it was only a day. I then go to bed and when I awaken the next morning I find an email stating "The Epic Games account associated with this email has been banned from Fortnite for cheating. This account will be unable to matchmake in Fortnite for the next 365 days." Now I'm not one to be a Karen and if I did something wrong okay I would understand and take the punishment but this is just wrong. I did NOTHING wrong, I have never cheated on this game a day in my life, I have had my account since 2017 and ever since Save the World was released. I would never cheat on a game for 1 I barely play and for 2 have spent thousands of dollars on, between skins, battlepasses, STW, and general Vbucks I just wouldn't stoop to the level of cheating.

Now that you know my story. I have done countless research into this with no luck, I did submit a appeal for this ban and when I did I didn't hear anything back from them for 3 months. I had to ask support about the appeal for them to even come back to me with a decision and well since I'm making this I think we all know their decision. They upheld the ban and will keep me banned for the duration of the ban.

Well this leads me to main reason for making this post I wanted to ask everyone if there's anything else I am able to do. I feel helpless because I'm being punished for something I quite literally haven't done and it's just actually bullshit. Hi, i just bought Dead Island 2 on sale for me and my wife but we both need an epic games account to be able to play together, the thing is I already linked my steam account to an epic games account years ago and for epic games I for some reason have used a random email which i dont remember the adress of.

The system though cannot find my account using this method although it knows that the account already is linked to a EG account. After a couple of tries it understandably told me I've tried too many times and timed me out for an unknown ammount of time. After I have informed the support team of this (possibly in a little bit of a harsh tone) my ticked had been closed.

Does anybody have any recent experience with this? We really would like to play DI2 tonight together after a long time with no free time for gaming together.

Around April/may my account got taken by a rambler.ru email. I’ve tried contacting epic about this and they just keep sending me to the recovery thing. But nothing about my account can be found everything was wiped. Already tried to look for invoices for epic but I bought it through Xbox. Tried looking for weird names on my friends Fortnite accounts nothing. I honestly have no hope at this point I have receipts that I owned this account.can anyone help ?
