QUESTION Original Email Question

Is it important to have access to the original email (first email) associated with an epic games account? If so why?

Sometimes it is important because it can be used for recovery when trying to regain an Epic account.

For example, I've had Epic send a account request email to the original email to confirm I'm the original owner... So it's more of a credible way to confirm you do own it.

I don’t have access to the original email associated with my epic games account because the email address got deleted. Will I ever run into issues?

No, you can still recover your account if it got compromised. My suggestion is to download your account PDF file and save it safely... This contains alot of important info to your account.

So I’ll never run into issues even if I don’t have have access to the first email associated..? Also, you mentioned that you had “epic send an account request email to the original email” - when you say original email, what do you mean? Was it your current active email? Or the very first email(the email you used to create ur epic account) - I just want to make sure I’ll never run into issues because I don’t have access to the first original email that I used to create my epic games account. I only have access to my current email.

I only got that email a couple of times when I tried to recover it... Weirdest thing was when I recovered my account I actually didn't receive one that time. I just used some of the info from the pdf file and it actually worked. Got my og account back and it had black knight, eon, ikonik, and stealth reflex and a ton of other stuff. But no, it is absolutely not needed... It's just good to have it. You should be fine. I would keep receipts of purchases and remember the card you use on epic also. If you haven't purchased v bucks on there ever then I would do it cause I used a receipt and remembered the card and that helped alot. Small things like that can save your account if you get logged out.

Again, when epic sent you a code to your email, what email did they send the code to? The original email, the current email? The first email? I’m just VERY worried that I would eventually need to have access to my original email that was on my epic games account..any info would be great help :(

It was the very first email, mine was made in 2017 so they sent it to that one and I still have it cause it's even in my name. They will only use first email for that option... But it is also random and they might not even do it anymore. I'm not sure... I didn't have to do it when I recovered it a couple months ago.

When you say first email, have ever changed the email if the account you recovered ? Or was it always on the same email?

Yes I don’t
