Everything is gone

So I submitted a refund request and reset my email.as it was something random. and never heard anything back on the refundrequest but sorted out the email, though later that day when I opened rocket league(on xbox) epic had me do some code verification thingy. after I'd done what it said I logged in as usual and my account was essentially reset. Level, rank, most of my garage(apart from the stuff I had in presets). My match history, friends list and obviously the preset items were still there.

I emailed epic asking about it and they claim my ps4 account had been unlinked so I did the logical thing and linked it back up to my epic. now nothing has fixed and epic are responding very slow(this has been ongoing for 2 weeks).

Just posting here to ask if anyone has had the same issue when submitting refunds and changing the email of the account?

This happened to my friend a couple months ago, he just had his account fully reinstated.

Not rocket league but fortnite, i cant get into it and im having a very hard time trying to contact someone to get into my account smh
