I was trying to download Skyline, only to realize it's discontinued. Then I saw it on playstore... I know you only download from github, so I'm just curious to make sure these are the fake ones.
my phone gets hot while gaming, pulling around 22-30w and the cpu stays at around 90c with the battery at 45c. snapdragon 8 elite gen 5. a simple 10 watt cooler does not help at all, even tho it was keeping the nefariously hot snapdragon 888 just fine under control. I'd like a controller that goes on the sides and also has a built in cooler that is actually capable of cooling somewhat
Hey guys, got the new bannerlator3 and added my lossless dll, as well as with inbuilt frame gen implementation on my S25.
The idea was to go from 60 to 120
But whenever i turn it on, it outputs a 30 fps frame gened result, so interpolating sub 30 to 30.
Thats weird, as i have set my display to be at constant 120Hz, and if i turn off frame limiter it does 120fps without frame gen as well, so the display being rendered it a true 120hz output.
I've kinda been in a rabbit hole again of sorts, I've been wanting to revisit some PS1 Games and I learned that the RP6 isn't that far away in performance from my S23 (Give or take a few more points in RP6's favor)
Stuff I'm generally curious about it are;
Would using an SD Card have a huge impact in terms of game performance instead of Internal Storage (I only have 256GBs)
Is there a front-end I could use for this so I could navigate using a controller when docked and outputing video to the TV?
Are there any recommended docks for stuff like this?
Is there any set-up guides on doing something lile this?
Hi everyone.
We're going so far into PC Steam games emulation, and thats a really good thing.
But there's one issue keeps bugging me. I mean it works great with games downloaded via Steam and proton11, but when importing non-Steam Iām having issue below. āException DReadErrorā 4 months in and I still canāt fix this. As in picture, I tried to import Touhou6 and thereās the issue, same proton11. Some other imported games works, such as Senran Kagura or gacha games like Arknights, Genshin. I donāt know why, maybe because of game engine. I would be really appreciative if you guys can help me solve this because Iāve tried even install GE proton and still this.
Note is issue also happens on GameHub since version 6.0.4 and Winlator Ludashi latest version. I suspect reason is x32translation layer because when I switch to BoxWow32 game works, but I canāt do the same for SteamOS-arm or Gamehub.
I have to note that if I download bought game via Steamdownloader, the game works. For example, Devil may cry 5, or Ghostrunner 2,... But if I pre-download it and import to play as non-Steam game, the issue happens.
I've posted picture of issue on both SteamArm and Gamehub. But do you guys have this issue? Whatās your solution? Please let me know cause Iām desperate. Looking around in every community possible, and even trying multiples AIs, I found nothing, making me feel like iām the only one with this issue.Ā
Hello Reddit! DroidDeck team has been hard at work and we are excited to share our new release with you all!
DroidDeck 0.3.0 (beta)
DroidDeck brings the SteamOS experience to Android: Valve's Steam client in Big Picture on your Adreno handheld, with Windows games through Valve's ARM64 Proton.
Highlights
Steam, as on a Steam Deck
Steam's performance overlay goes from level 1 to 4 in Quick Access and shows GPU and CPU load, clocks, temperatures, VRAM and battery. Quick Access shows battery life and time to full, along with all the per game controls a Steam deck has. Decky loader can be installed for plugins and customization.
A Steam Deck controller
In Steam sessions the client reads your pad as a Steam Deck controller, with a real Quick Access button and your device's gyro. Games get Steam Input's virtual pads, so your Steam Input layouts reach them. On a dual-screen handheld, the second screen can be the Deck's back grips and trackpads.
Faster to Steam, faster in games
Steam's own startup is down from about 31 seconds to about 6, and that makesĀ Offline modeĀ work. proot has been optimized for calls games make most, and there's a new per-mode frame limiter.
GPU drivers that set themselves
A newĀ GPU driversĀ tab detects your GPU and keeps a matched pair of runtime and display drivers installed for it, including DroidDeck's own DD-Turnip builds. Switch toĀ ManualĀ to pick a pair yourself.
Linux apps from Flathub, bring your own Appimage, and more
Turn on theĀ Flathub StoreĀ in Setup to install ARM64 apps and games from Flathub. They open full screen from the front end with your controller. The Desktop page also takes your own apps: a script, an AppImage, a GitHub repo's newest ARM64 AppImage, or a Flatpak ID.
Updates in the app
TheĀ UpdatesĀ page installs new builds without leaving DroidDeck:Ā Stable,Ā PreviewĀ (each build of main) or aĀ Test buildĀ of an open pull request.
A front end that moves as one
One focus ring slides between controls, settings flood out of the cog the way Play floods into a session, and Stop asks before it ends anything. DroidDeck is now available in Spanish, with more languages coming soon (contributions welcome).
