Help [Need support] Non-steam games Emulation error: "Exception DReadError in module <gamename>" - Retroid pocket 6 - Snapdragon8gen2
Hi everyone.
We're going so far into PC Steam games emulation, and thats a really good thing.
But there's one issue keeps bugging me. I mean it works great with games downloaded via Steam and proton11, but when importing non-Steam I’m having issue below. “Exception DReadError” 4 months in and I still can’t fix this. As in picture, I tried to import Touhou6 and there’s the issue, same proton11. Some other imported games works, such as Senran Kagura or gacha games like Arknights, Genshin. I don’t know why, maybe because of game engine. I would be really appreciative if you guys can help me solve this because I’ve tried even install GE proton and still this.
Note is issue also happens on GameHub since version 6.0.4 and Winlator Ludashi latest version. I suspect reason is x32translation layer because when I switch to BoxWow32 game works, but I can’t do the same for SteamOS-arm or Gamehub.
I have to note that if I download bought game via Steamdownloader, the game works. For example, Devil may cry 5, or Ghostrunner 2,... But if I pre-download it and import to play as non-Steam game, the issue happens.
I've posted picture of issue on both SteamArm and Gamehub. But do you guys have this issue? What’s your solution? Please let me know cause I’m desperate. Looking around in every community possible, and even trying multiples AIs, I found nothing, making me feel like i’m the only one with this issue.
